Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Love Has Arrived in Wisconsin and Is Settling In Love came to Mutt Life Dog Rescue from a high-risk shelter in Arkansas, where she spent nearly her entire puppyhood after arriving at just five weeks old. As part of the Packer Litter of five, Love waited months for her chance to leave the shelter behind. She has now safely arrived in Wisconsin and is settling in beautifully at her foster home. Meet Love Love is a tricolor pup with a heart as big as her name. Her breed is a Lab mix (best guess), as two of her siblings look very Lab-like, but they all have different unique coloring. She is approximately seven months old and weighs around 35–40 pounds. Despite her rough beginning, Love is sweet, friendly, and incredibly affectionate. She is dog friendly and kid friendly. While she has not been cat tested, she is still young and would likely do well with cats with proper introductions. Love is now spayed and is pretty much potty trained. She is doing really well in her foster home and continues to gain confidence every day. Love is a total love bug and would make a wonderful family dog. She has a medium energy level and enjoys playing, but she also knows how to relax. One of her favorite things is cuddling up on the couch with her people after a fun day. Love will benefit from continued work on leash manners and crate training, but she is eager to learn and thrives with patience, consistency, and love. From Foster: Love is doing great. She is cautious with new things but grows more confident every day. She’s a sweetheart who loves to snuggle or simply sit by your side. Very loyal and attentive, she comes when called and even offers a paw sometimes. She listens well to basic commands, does wonderfully with potty training, and does great in her kennel. She also has the cutest habit of gathering all her toys into one little pile. Parker is a 6–7-month-old hound/shepherd mix who was heartbreakingly dumped at a state park by his previous owner and ended up in an Arkansas shelter through no fault of his own. Thankfully, that chapter is behind him, and he’s now getting the fresh start he deserves. Since arriving in foster care, Parker has been thriving. He is doing well with potty training and crate training and continues to make great progress each day. He’s dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and has the playful, goofy personality you’d expect from a young pup. He loves to play, explore, and be part of the action. Parker can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly once he feels safe. With continued exposure and positive experiences, his confidence will only continue to grow. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who just needed a chance to feel secure. He would do wonderfully in a home ready to continue guiding him through puppyhood with patience, structure, and lots of love. Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ About Megan Megan arrived in Wisconsin on our transport from Georgia in October and is currently looking for a new home since being adopted in fall. She is an energetic, playful, and affectionate dog who is ready to find her forever home. Megan is approximately 1 year old and came from a Georgia kill shelter and was found as a stray before that. She was adopted but is being returned because she is too much dog for her older adopters. Despite this transition, Megan remains a smart, loving, and eager-to-learn young dog with a lot of potential. She is a black Lab mix and weighs approximately 50 pounds. Since being in an only-dog home, Megan has lost some confidence when meeting new people and other dogs, especially strangers coming into the home. She was not like this previously, and we think she would do well in a home with another dog and/or an adopter who knows how to help her feel more comfortable. She is getting some help with a professional trainer and her foster so we are eager to see how she improves! Megan really likes other dogs and loves to play, though she is a strong and enthusiastic player. She loves treats and is eager to learn. She also loves to play fetch and be outside. She would be a great adventure partner. Like many dogs her age, Megan is still working on some of the basics. She is potty trained and crate trained and continues to work on her leash manners. One of our dedicated volunteers held a fundraiser to cover professional training for Megan and set her on the right track again. We want to set her up for success and give her a solid foundation to build on. With continued structure, socialization, and activity, Megan will make a wonderful companion. Megan would do best in an active home with someone willing to continue her training, work on socialization, and take her on regular walks or hikes. You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!***   Please help me get out! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on MARCH 13th and arrive on MARCH 14th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!!   Updated: 2/19/2026 Dog Name: Marleigh Mae Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Mixed Breed/Lab Mix Approximate Age: 3 months Approximate Weight: 18 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Not Yet Spayed (too young) Description: Marleigh Mae was saved from a home where there were 10 siblings were desperately in need of a hero as their home was becoming overwhelming with so many animals. They risked creating more unwanted litters and our Texas rescue partners stepped in to save Marleigh Mae along with two litters. These babies are cuddle bugs and learning to be social, they are young and so happy to have a safe place to sleep and are currently being vetted. Marleigh Mae is sweet and cuddly; she does not bark as of yet and is learning how to use potty pads! She is great with other dogs and kids. These babies are praying for a second chance! Help us save her! Adoption Fee: $550We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. February 23, 2026, 11:20 pm
