Story
🐾 FOSTER UPDATE🐾 “Bingo is the sweetest boy around. He loves a good walk followed by some serious cuddles. He is house trained and listens very well. Bingo is a quick learner and food motivated. He currently knows sit, down, paw, and stay. He loves enrichment activities like treat puzzles and lick mats and any toy that squeaks. He thrives when he’s given the proper attention and exercise with walks, playtime, and enrichment activities. Bingo welcomes everyone with a loose body and wagging tail. When he gets overstimulated, a good chew bone or toy will calm him down. He learned how to patiently wait while his humans eat and has an odd love of all bread products. He’s learned leave it and is getting better at ignoring other dogs on walks. Bingo would love a fenced backyard to run laps in, after he visited his foster grandparents and was introduced to their fenced backyard. He doesn’t love being alone but is getting better at it with access to a quiet, comfy spot that’s all his.” ⭐️Bingo’s adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor ⭐️ Meet Bingo! Bingo is a very special man that came to us through Angel’s Retreat’s “ACCTs of Love” program due to needing advanced care as he was suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. Bingo originally came to the other shelter as a stray found in a mobile home park with a gunshot to the top of his nose cavity. When Bingo was found, despite the massive amount of pain he was in, they reported him to still greet the strangers that found him with tail wags, and looking to be petted 🥹 Bingo’s wound was caused from a bullet going through his skull, through the roof of his mouth, through his tongue, and then getting lodged in his neck. Amazingly, the bullet missed all his airways and vital organs! He needed time to heal but recovered beautifully and is ready to find his happy ever after! 🫶🏼 Bingo has done wonderful learning these skills, house, manners, doggy manners, and how to be the all-around great boy. He is a quick learner, and the biggest lover you could imagine. He wants nothing more than a person to give all his love to! Could you be that person? If you are interested in being considered for them please apply on our website at www.angelsretreat.org 💕🐾 Bingo Quick Facts: -He is house trained and has great manners -He is the sweetest boy who would love nothing more than a person to snuggle and kiss! -He is gets along with dogs he knows but does require a proper dog introduction -He is a sunbather! He is more interested in chilling and snuggling than being very active -He needs someone who can continue to work on his confidence building on a leash, but he is doing wonderful learning with his favorite volunteers! -He loves his people friends and is a leaner who loves to lean on people to get some love 🫶🏼 Angel’s Retreat West Chester, PA PA Kennel License 17335

Story
Tulip's Story Tulip is a 10-month-old black Mastiff/Lab mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. She came to the shelter as a stray alongside four other dogs, but it didn’t take long for her to stand out as the most social and people-loving of the group. Already over 50 pounds and still growing, Tulip is going to be a large, strong companion. She thrives around other dogs and would do wonderfully in a home with a canine friend to play with. However, her natural curiosity and prey drive mean she would likely chase cats, so a cat-free home is recommended. Tulip is sweet, affectionate, and eager to connect, but she’s still learning her manners—especially on a leash. With consistent training and guidance, she has all the potential to become an incredible, well-rounded companion. Because of her size, strength, and breed mix, prior experience with large or Mastiff-type dogs is required to ensure she continues to grow into her best self. Tulip is ready to find a loving home that will give her the structure, patience, and affection she deserves. Applications are now being accepted for this beautiful girl—could she be your perfect match? Story
Hyacinth's Story Meet Hyacinth 🌸 Hyacinth is a 10-month-old Mastiff/Labrador Retriever mix with a gentle heart and so much potential. This sweet girl is still learning about the world around her after being found as a stray, and new experiences can make her a bit shy at first. But give her a little time and patience, and you’ll see just how kind and loving she truly is. Hyacinth is especially looking for someone who can help guide her as she builds confidence—she’s not quite sure about walking on a leash yet, so she’ll need a family willing to take things slow and show her the ropes. With positive reinforcement and encouragement, she’s sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. The good news? Hyacinth has already shown that she can get along well with other dogs, and having a canine friend in the home could even help her feel more secure as she adjusts. If you’re someone who finds joy in helping a shy pup come out of her shell, Hyacinth could be the perfect match for you. With a little love, patience, and guidance, this sweet girl is ready to bloom into the loyal, loving dog she’s meant to be. Story
This big, thick momma is 113 pounds of pure chunky love! Coco has spent much of her life living outside, and now she’s finally getting her chance to enjoy the comfort, safety, and warmth of a real home.Don’t let her size fool you — beneath those extra rolls is the sweetest soul. Coco is gentle, loving, and just wants a soft spot to lay her head and someone to call her own. After everything she’s been through, she deserves a cozy couch, full belly, and a family who will spoil her the way she should’ve been all along. If you’ve got room in your heart (and on your sofa!) for this over-sized sweetheart, Coco is ready to be your loyal, chunky best friend.
