Story
Meet Duke! A two year old Mastiff mix that is looking for his forever family. In the home he is house broken, crate trained, and loves to be with his humans. He's very strong on leash and tends to jump and get a little mouthy when he plays or gets excited. A requirement would be no children under 10. He can, however, tend to get too excited and possessive over toys so a family that can maintain boundaries in their home would be required. As for cats... this big boy LOVES them and would have no problem sharing his space with a dog.       If you are interested in Duke please fill out an adoption application at: https://www.dogsaredeservingrescue.com/adoptable-dogs/adoption-application/January 27, 2026, 12:12 pm

Story
Meet Nyla! She is a sweet, shy, gentle girl who survived a very rough start. Nyla came from a severely neglected litter and was rescued malnourished, scared, and very weak. Today she is calm, intelligent, and loving once she feels safe. She softly licks your hand, enjoys head scratches, and gets along well with other dogs. She loves to sniff and explore and would thrive with a family who enjoys walks or outdoor time. Because of early food scarcity, she may show light resource guarding (only gentle growls). She can also jump a 4-ft fence, so she must be on leash outdoors unless in a secure dog park or designated off-leash area. Nyla is not high energy but needs more attention, structure, and exercise than my parents can provide. She is still growing and has so much potential. Requirements: reference check, vet verification, and home check. Nyla deserves a patient, loving forever home.

Story
Hi, All Mac, here short for Mac truck lol. If you love big goofy dogs, I'm your guy. I am 100 lbs. of cuddle bug. I really don't think I am as big as they say I am because I would prefer to just be a couch Potatoe and lay next to my people and chew on a bone. I am a people kind of guy and love everyone I meet. I can probably live with another dog, but he would have to be calmer like me. but little dogs and very young children I would be afraid of because I am clumsy and wouldn't want to hurt them. I definitely don't think I could handle cats. But I know a lot of commands they say I am really smart and a fast learner. I am potty trained but do not like cages. I am strong on a leash so I would need a strong owner. Fill out an app here. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdsHBf5NUtvyBYpzWm6Z5Z0JosLBTsDC98oxPTfxtM9brrc7Q/viewform

Story
Hi, I’m Ocean and I’m ready to find my forever home. Dog’s Name: Ocean  Location: Waunakee, WI Date of Birth: 6/1/2024 Gender: Female Breed: Cane Corso Color: Brindle Dog's Weight: 83 Gets along with: Dogs?: All dogs Cats?:  All cats  Kids?: Older kids Training: Leash trained: Pulls on leash, but walks nicely with a harness Crate/Kennel:  Goes to crate/kennel on command Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car: Rides well in car - needs to be tethered Meet Ocean! Ocean is doing wonderfully in foster care and continues to show just how special she is. She’s already learned to bark and paw at the door when she needs to go outside and settles into her kennel without fuss—though she may need a gentle reminder that the couch isn’t always an option because, let’s be honest, it is pretty comfy. She rides well in the car, hopping right in on her own. While she may whine a little during drives, she handles outings like a champ and even impressed the vet staff by politely taking treats. Ocean has also met teenagers and, after a brief initial bark, quickly warmed up and became friendly and affectionate once properly introduced. Ocean is a playful, high-energy pup who would absolutely love a canine playmate. She’s been eager to play with her foster sibling and would thrive with another energetic dog who can keep up with her fun-loving spirit. Leash training is in progress and improving, and with more consistent walks, she’s expected to continue doing great. Like many young dogs, Ocean can still get a bit jumpy when she’s excited and may “tag” with her front paws while playing. She’s gentle, mouths lightly, and is actively learning good manners with continued positive reinforcement. She’s shown curiosity about counters but no surfing, and she does a great job distinguishing between her toys and people’s belongings. Ocean will do best in a home with an active family ready to continue training, another playful, energetic dog, slightly older kids who can handle her enthusiasm, and patience and consistency to help her mature into her best self. Ocean is a truly sweet girl with a loving heart and joyful personality. With continued guidance and time to grow, she’s going to be an amazing addition to a lucky family. Story
Hi, I’m Waylon and I am still gaining weight. Check back as my foster family learns more about me and helps me heal! Dog’s Name: Waylon Location: Seneca, MO Date of Birth: 01/26/2025 Gender: Male Breed:Mastiff Color: Fawn Dog's Weight: 60 Gets along with: Dogs?: All dogs Cats?:  Unknown Kids?: All kids Other: Chickens Training: Leash trained: walks loose on leash Crate/Kennel:  please see description below Potty trained: working on it and doing well Car:  Rides well in the car Meet Waylon Waylon is learning how to be a dog — and it’s the sweetest thing to watch. From discovering toys to learning how to snuggle, this gentle boy is blossoming more every day. He absolutely loves to play, especially roughhousing with the other dogs in his foster home, and truly thrives with canine companionship. A confident dog buddy helps him build his confidence and brings out his playful, happy personality. Waylon prefers having a little more freedom and doesn’t do well in confined spaces. Because he would try to escape and can hurt himself, we made the decision not to crate him and instead focus on keeping him safe and comfortable in other ways. Waylon adores attention and affection, enjoys being petted, and is learning that cuddles are pretty great too. He’s a sweet soul with a soft heart — gentle when taking treats, eager to please, and always trying his best to do the right thing. He loves kids, loves his people, and just wants to belong to a family of his own. Waylon would do great with a first-time giant breed owner who is ready to provide love, patience, and continued guidance. A fenced yard is a must so he can safely run, play, and burn off his puppy energy. Having another dog in the home is essential to help build his confidence and give him a playful companion. Waylon is the kind of dog who will grow into an incredibly loyal, loving companion with the right family by his side. If you’re looking for a sweet boy with a playful spirit, a gentle heart, and the potential to become the most devoted best friend you’ve ever had — Waylon is waiting for you.
