*Woof* I`m in a foster home. To meet me reach out to my foster caregiver at faithsanders25@gmail.comOnyx is a variety of quartz and symbolizes protection and strength. And yes, that is me, the beautiful Onyx with a strong heart and a willingness to protect our life together. Apparently, Onyx also symbolizes the absorption of negativity and if you have seen my super wiggles, then you will believe that I can do this. I am a whole-body expert wiggler and when you come home and see me wiggle, it will make your day (and your coming home will make my day). I will bury into your hand or body just hoping that you`ll give me lots of pets and cuddles. I am curious, friendly and a true delight to be around and so it is good that I am a big boy so there is just more delight of me. I have been enjoying my walks here and am looking to acquire basic doggie manners. I hear there are yummy treats involved -- and food is one of my favorite things in the world! Are you open to bringing a gorgeous and happy dog into your life? I may be the right fit!

*Woof* I`m in a foster home. To meet me reach out to my foster caregiver at emily.briskin@gmail.com!Check out my awesome TikTok post (my foster family is the best): https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP89y4f5G/My foster family says I`m a great dog. I came out of my shell very quickly and showed myself to be very friendly and sweet. I`m clearly people-oriented and eager to connect. I lived up to my reputation for good leash manners and really enjoyed a lick mat with peanut butter. Here are a few other things they said about me:- he is a very gentle giant, he absolutely loves to cuddle and shows a lot of affection. - he loves saying `hi` to other dogs and loves to play; he gets along great with our resident dog. - he loves to relax and take naps but is always ready for a nice walk; he is great on a leash! - he likes to lay by my side in his bed napping while I work. - he recently met some kids and did awesome with them. He even let them walk him! He was very calm with them and took treats very gently. I know some of the basic things, like sit, and am a good leash-walker, so we should be off to a good start when you take me home. Otherwise, I am a laid-back, easygoing pup who is always happy to be around my people. In sum, I am perfect -- and so ready to make your life perfect, too!

Story
***50% of Bruno's adoption fee is sponsored by Petfinder*** 🐾 Meet Bruno: The Gentleman, The Scholar, and The Professional Snuggler! If you’re looking for a dog who balances "perfectly behaved gentleman" with "absolute goofball," look no further. Bruno is a soulful, emotive, and incredibly loyal companion who is ready to find his forever "person." With his expressive brows and heart-melting eyes, he doesn't just look at you—he looks into your soul. 🎩 The Perfect Gentleman Bruno is the gold standard for house manners. He is housebroken, crate trained, and a non-destroyer of household items (he saves his "demolition skills" strictly for his own toys and bones). A Clean Eater: He is incredibly food-motivated but has the gentlest mouth when taking treats. No mess, no grabby teeth—just pure politeness. The Hand-Holder: One of Bruno’s most endearing traits is his habit of putting his paw in your hand. It’s his way of saying "I love you" or "Hey, a snack would be great right now." Scholar Status: He already knows Sit, Stay, and Paw. He has a deep desire to learn more and will happily master new tricks for a piece of string cheese or a hot dog. 🧸 Playtime & Personality The Package Investigator: Expect Bruno to be the first one at the door when a delivery arrives. He takes his job as "Chief Package Inspector" very seriously, always checking to see if the box contains a new puzzle or bone. Goofy & Loving: He’s a total fan of hugs, kisses, and even little "nose nibbles." At night, he takes his job as a professional bed warmer very seriously. The Rolling Stone: Bruno loves a yard where he can zoom around and, more importantly, engage in some high-quality grass rolling. Balanced Energy: He’s got great energy for a walk or a game of fetch, but he’s equally content to be a lazy couch potato by your side. 🐕 On the Walk Bruno is a dream on a leash. He’s curious and aware, but he’s a "proactive" walker. He’s learned to sit and wait at corners until you give the "let’s go" signal. When he sees other dogs, he’s happy to give them space and can be easily distracted with treats—he’s a "look and move on" kind of guy! 🏡 Bruno’s Wish List Bruno is a sensitive soul who thrives on routine and clear boundaries. His ideal home includes: The "Quiet" Life: Bruno is sensitive to high-pitched sounds (he’s not a fan of the "click" of nail clippers!), so a calm environment is best. Room to Breathe: He loves open spaces where he can retreat and take some "me time" when he needs it. A home with a privacy-fenced yard would be his absolute dream. Grown-Up Friends: Because of his size and sensitive nature, he’d do best in a home with teenagers or adults only. Solo Pet Status: Bruno would likely thrive as an "only child" in a single-person home or a quiet household. He prefers a life free of cats or small "critters." Is Bruno the loyal, hand-holding partner you’ve been searching for? His Foster Family shared: "Bruno is the ultimate 'soulmate dog.' He has this incredible way of communicating just by using his expressive eyebrows or gently placing his paw in your hand to ask for a snack—or just a little bit of your time. He’s a total gentleman in the house, a world-class bed warmer, and honestly, he’s the best assistant I’ve ever had for unboxing packages! If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy best friend who truly listens, Bruno is your guy." Story
COREY – A Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold   Corey is the kind of dog who makes an impression the moment you meet him. With his big, handsome frame and soulful eyes, he has the presence of a true gentle giant. But behind that strong exterior is a calm, affectionate dog who simply wants to be near his people.   Corey carries himself with a quiet confidence and a peaceful nature. He’s not overly demanding or high-energy—he enjoys the simple things in life like relaxing in the grass, soaking up the sunshine, and spending time beside the people he trusts. His steady temperament and gentle demeanor make him the kind of companion who brings a sense of calm wherever he goes.   Despite his large size, Corey is incredibly sweet and easygoing. He does well with other respectful dogs and would thrive in a home that appreciates a big dog with a soft heart. He’s the type of boy who will happily walk by your side and then settle nearby, content just to be part of the moment.   Corey is looking for a home that understands big breeds and can give him the love, stability, and space he deserves. In return, he’ll offer unwavering loyalty, companionship, and the quiet comfort that only a devoted dog can provide.   Corey is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. He will be fully vetted prior to adoption.   Location: Texas (available for transport) Adoption Fee: $350 plus health certificate and transport (if out of state – varies by location)   Adoption Process: The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. All Pep’s Pals Rescue adoptions include a virtual interview and video meet-and-greet.   Corey is ready to find a family who will appreciate his gentle nature and give him the forever home he deserves.   Apply to adopt at: pepspalsrescue.org/adopt   ##2541025##
