Story
*Woof* I`m in a foster home. To meet me reach out to my foster caregiver at faithsanders25@gmail.com.Onyx is an 80lb cuddle bug who loves to play but can also appreciate a good nap. He loves to meet new people regardless of age, as long as they agree to never stop petting him. He is crate trained and potty trained and would make a fantastic companion for a single person or even a family with children. Onyx is a curious big guy always up for a long walk through the neighborhood. He is currently working on loose leash walking but responds well to positive reinforcement and is extremely food motivated. He knows basic commands such as sit, stay, down, and leave it but is eager and willing to learn more. If you are looking for a gentle giant to join your family, Onyx may be the one for you!

Story
https://foha.org/pet/queen2023/ All hail me, your Queen! Hey there! My name is Queen, and I am a big, beautiful pup with a larger-than-life personality and a royal charm. The great outdoors is where I truly shine—I absolutely love going for walks and can never get enough of them! Leash walking? Piece of cake! I’m always ready for an adventure. Hiking is one of my absolute favorite things to do. Whether it’s a winding trail through the woods or a peaceful park, I’m in my element. There’s just something magical about exploring nature—splashing my paws in streams, sniffing out all the new scents, and, of course, rolling in the grass (I just have to!). I’m also a fantastic travel buddy. Car rides? No problem! I’m happy to either gaze out the window, watching the world go by, or just settle in with a tasty treat. And speaking of treats… let’s talk food. I. Am. FOOD. DRIVEN. Seriously, if you’ve got snacks, you have my full attention. Training? Yep, I’ve had training sessions, and with the right motivation (ahem, treats), I’m eager to learn and show off my skills. But let’s be real—I like to think I’m the one in charge, so I need a patient and consistent owner who knows my breed and can keep me on the right track. I’ve been in the shelter for two whole years, just waiting for my perfect match. I may come off as a bit sensitive, so I’d thrive in a quiet home where I can feel safe and comfortable. But once I warm up to you? Oh boy, get ready for endless love, constant demands for attention, and yes—plenty of slobbery kisses! If you can handle that, I promise I’ll be your best girl. I’d do best as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention (because let’s face it, I deserve it!). A household without kids would also be ideal, given my size and my big, excitable heart. But don’t let my size fool you—I’m a total teddy bear and a great house guest. I love hanging out with my favorite people, cuddling up, and just being part of the family. If you’re looking for a majestic, affectionate, food-loving, adventure-ready companion, I’m your girl! Let’s take on the world, one walk (or treat) at a time. If you’d like to meet me, fill out an application (no obligation), and let’s make it happen. Hope to see you soon!

Story
Roscoe (A567045) is a 7-year-old senior with the sweetest, most gentle soul. He has a calm, quiet demeanor and seems very well-mannered. As soon as we got outside, he went potty right away — twice — which is often a good sign that he may already be housebroken and had likely been holding it.Roscoe walks nicely on leash and only pulls a little when something especially interesting catches his nose… like a pine tree (his personal favorite). Otherwise, he’s happy to stroll along at your side.He sits politely, takes treats with the gentlest mouth, and has the kind of soulful, sad eyes that make you wonder how such a sweet dog ended up in a shelter at all.Roscoe is the kind of dog who just wants a little kindness and a soft place to land. If you come meet him, remember he loves baby talk and scratches behind his ears — it’s the fastest way to make a new best friend.https://www.instagram.com/reels/DVzvQcRDfFl/https://www.facebook.com/reel/1995385857856753/?mibextid=wwXIfr&rdid=GR5R6zHk1q5UQf3r#

Story
Sampson has currently been staying with us over at Big Dog Run and let me tell you we have fallen in LOVE??. Sampson is as big of a gentle giant as one can get. With his calm demeanor and loving personality Sampson makes for the perfect 100lb lap dog??. When you approach his kennels he will greet you with the biggest smile on his face and a little wiggle dance????. Sampson has been socialized around a plethora of dogs over at Big Dog Run and has done phenomenal with all dogs of different sizes and energy types. Sampson hasn’t met a person or dog he does not love??.Sampson loves to be around his people but also does very well being independent and left alone. Sampson is currently working on some leash manners and is doing very so very well! Sampson is a mild to low energy dog that would do well with only a couple walks a day (and maybe 20 minutes of his favorite game.. FETCH??) and grazing into your eyes in complete admiration for the rest????. Overall Sampson is as perfect as perfect gets!! This boy would do well in many different household types!
