Story
Odin is a pretty sweet dog, he likes to jump and sleep on furniture because he thinks he's human most days, which wasn't allowed in our home, but would make him the happiest pup in his new home. His only special need is that he doesn't like thunderstorms or fireworks, he gets very anxious with loud noises and we have a prescription for him to help keep him calm when a storm comes. No other special needs besides love, he's very lovey. He's also protective from afar, which has been great for me as a smaller woman, however, with his size, I was never really able to control him on the lease because he's stronger than I am, therefore he wasn't properly socialized and has never been to a dog park because I knew he would control me and not the other way around. He has lived with other dogs and children which was perfectly fine, and anyone who entered the house was safe also. It's just outside his home where I am unsure due to his strength and my lack of strength.

Story
Maddie is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Maddie is a calm, sweetheart with a cute "pouty" bottom lip and big, golden eyes. She can be a little timid meeting new people but warms up quickly. Maddie's hidden talent is that she could eat non stop and still be skinny - people often think she is larger than she is, but she's solidly a medium sized pup at around 46 lbs. She also is a cute grunter, snorter and she has earned the nickname "lil piggy" because of her noises. So far Maddie has done well with every dog she has met and lives with two large furry foster siblings. Even dogs that don't seemed to be impressed with her, she gets the hint and usually leaves them alone. Alternatively, she isn't a fan of pushy dogs but leaves them alone without incident. Maddie's daytime routine currently consists of eating breakfast and some morning activity (wrestling with her Corso bro, sniffari, or a walk) and then she is perfectly content napping. She usually spends a few hours napping next to her foster mom's desk during the work day. She would make a great office pet as she stays quiet during Zoom meetings and other calls. Maddie has not been tested with cats but she has seemed interested in chasing squirrels & rabbits so she may need a cat-free home or thoughtful, slow integration with a very dog-savvy cat. Overall, Maddie is a lovely, medium energy dog that is affectionate with her people but can also settle nearby. An easy-going pup, Maddie seems okay with most things. She's a confident, curious and friendly little girl that will make a great addition to a variety of different homes and lifestyles. ATTRIBUTES: Maddie does well with dogs. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
Who needs to go to England when you could have your very own personal London? WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Meet London. London is just about the perfect dog for any adopter. Got another dog? London will sniff them politely, give them a bit of space, and - once they know each other - roll over on top of them and rest his head on their butts. Got adult humans? London will be in their laps, soaking in the love as soon as you get him home. Got kids? Not to worry, with London around their faces will stay thoroughly washed. We're not sure how he would do with cats but we expect he could learn to live with them, with proper introduction. London loves to chase tennis balls and toys, and will bring them back for another throw - or else just bring them inside to toss them around by himself for a while. He enjoys his walks and doesn't pull on his leash, but he's just as happy to come home and nap - preferably close to you. London has a big head, big paws, big love but medium-sized energy. Won't you bring home this big, velvety mass of love today? ATTRIBUTES: London lives with dogs. ------------ Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Beaufort is a good dog, but does not get along with our golden. He doesn’t understand his size either. He is loyal, but is stressed by my travel schedule and my cannot handle the dog’s disagreement while I’m not here.
