Story
fam, what is up? i am piper, legitimately the coolest and nicest dog in town but actually … i am literally THAT guy. i’m pretty easy going, good in the car, and on the couch. that new netflix show that’s def gonna be coming out about the karen dever case? i will watch it with you. fr. even if you’re already following it on tiktok. i’ll listen to you talk about it AND i will watch the entire show with you and still act cool with it. so you know…if you’re like interested or whadeva, tap my line and let’s be besties for the resties 🫶🏼 ciao, piper What the people have to say about me: Meet this handsome, laidback boy who's ready to steal your heart! Piper is a true gentle giant, content to lounge and cuddle or play with his favorite toys. He's a go anywhere kinda guy (brewery/patio approved!) and he's got a smile that will melt your heart! Piper is a loving boy who has shown himself to be a truly medium energy fella - a couple of average walks, some playtime, and something to engage his brain and he's good to go! Piper is also quite the paradox - on one hand he is so smart and eager to please! He knows sit and paw, seems to know to lie down and even comes back when called. On the other hand, this poor guy couldn't figure out how a kong works! It's okay Piper, we get it. You're book smart and might just lack some commonsense! Piper loves to chew and is an expert at defluffing a good stuffed toy. He loves his playtime with his doggy pals equally to his cuddles with his human companions. Swiper says there's no such thing as being too big to be a lapdog and he's always ready to melt into you and offer his belly for some rubs! With his sweet disposition and easygoing nature, he's looking for a loving home where he can be your best friend and a cherished member of the family. Piper is learning that sharing is caring and is readily trainable. He has a chill demeanor and is a joy to be around! Piper's got a heart as big as his head and is just waiting to adore his forever family with! Story
Hello! This is Kori. She is 5 yrs old. An sweet energetic girl. She loves people and is also very affectionate. Kori came to me as a boarding and daycare client however her previous owners went through some life changes and couldnt keep her. They were considering giving her to the shelter however I didn't think she would do well in that environment. She does get nervous in new noisy places so i decided to foster. I run a boarding business so shes been around all size dogs. She does well with male dogs. Other females take some warming up to but in time she's ready to play. She has been around small children via her previous home and loves children. She does know the basics (Sit, Stay, Down etc.) She is house and crate trained as well. She is an free adoption. She is coming with everything needed (Beds, Crate, food). I am also offering to help pay 50% towards training to help her transition into her new home. Kori is such a good dog. She would make a great addition to the family.

Story
Legolass is a 5-year-old, 65-pound Mastiff who happens to be the first dog you see when you walk into the adoption room. With the shelter at capacity, kennels are full, and his spot puts him right in the middle of constant foot traffic. It’s a busy, noisy place with people and dogs coming and going all day, which can make Legolass seem a bit barky in his kennel.Step into the interaction room with him, though, and you’ll meet a very different Legolass. He’s calm, slightly shy, and seems incredibly sweet. He knows how to sit, takes treats gently, and with a little sweet talk, his tail starts wagging and he starts giving kisses.Sometimes the first dog you see gets overlooked. Take a chance on meeting Legolass and you just might find your perfect match.

Story
PLUTO – A Gentle Giant Who’s Learning What Love Feels Like   Pluto’s story is one of quiet strength, resilience, and hope. When he was first found, Pluto’s body told a heartbreaking story—thin, weak, and covered in the marks of neglect, he had clearly been struggling to survive for far too long. Yet even in his frailest moments, his eyes showed nothing but kindness and a longing to trust again.   With time, care, and steady meals, Pluto has begun to heal. His once fragile frame is filling out, his coat is regaining its shine, and his spirit is blossoming. Today, Pluto is discovering the joy of simple things—soft bedding, full bowls, gentle voices, and the company of people who see him for the beautiful soul he is.   Pluto is a large, calm, and affectionate boy. He moves with quiet confidence and has a gentle presence that draws you in. He gets along well with other dogs, especially those who are respectful and laid-back like he is. He’s not demanding; instead, he enjoys just being near his people, resting his head close by, or soaking up a few moments of peace in the sun.   After everything he’s been through, Pluto deserves a home that will offer him consistency, kindness, and the unconditional love he has always given in return. He is a living reminder that even after hardship, trust and joy can return with patience and care.   Pluto is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. He will be fully vetted prior to adoption.   Location: Texas (available for transport) Adoption Fee: $350 plus health certificate and transport (if out of state – varies by location) Adoption Process: The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. All Pep’s Pals Rescue adoptions include a virtual interview and video meet-and-greet.   Pluto is ready to leave his past behind and finally experience the comfort of a loving forever home. Story
https://foha.org/pet/queen2023/ All hail me, your Queen! Hey there! My name is Queen, and I am a big, beautiful pup with a larger-than-life personality and a royal charm. The great outdoors is where I truly shine—I absolutely love going for walks and can never get enough of them! Leash walking? Piece of cake! I’m always ready for an adventure. Hiking is one of my absolute favorite things to do. Whether it’s a winding trail through the woods or a peaceful park, I’m in my element. There’s just something magical about exploring nature—splashing my paws in streams, sniffing out all the new scents, and, of course, rolling in the grass (I just have to!). I’m also a fantastic travel buddy. Car rides? No problem! I’m happy to either gaze out the window, watching the world go by, or just settle in with a tasty treat. And speaking of treats… let’s talk food. I. Am. FOOD. DRIVEN. Seriously, if you’ve got snacks, you have my full attention. Training? Yep, I’ve had training sessions, and with the right motivation (ahem, treats), I’m eager to learn and show off my skills. But let’s be real—I like to think I’m the one in charge, so I need a patient and consistent owner who knows my breed and can keep me on the right track. I’ve been in the shelter for two whole years, just waiting for my perfect match. I may come off as a bit sensitive, so I’d thrive in a quiet home where I can feel safe and comfortable. But once I warm up to you? Oh boy, get ready for endless love, constant demands for attention, and yes—plenty of slobbery kisses! If you can handle that, I promise I’ll be your best girl. I’d do best as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention (because let’s face it, I deserve it!). A household without kids would also be ideal, given my size and my big, excitable heart. But don’t let my size fool you—I’m a total teddy bear and a great house guest. I love hanging out with my favorite people, cuddling up, and just being part of the family. If you’re looking for a majestic, affectionate, food-loving, adventure-ready companion, I’m your girl! Let’s take on the world, one walk (or treat) at a time. If you’d like to meet me, fill out an application (no obligation), and let’s make it happen. Hope to see you soon!

He has a bit of an “alpha” attitude and will occasionally have a low soft growl around small children. It is recommended he not be placed with any home that has pre teens or regular pack members that can over do it on attention. He is loyal and loving , he requires a lot of petting and attention. He does drool and will need help keeping his front legs cleaned often. FAVORITE ACTIVITIES: He likes being around other regular pack members and will bark at anything he deems a threat including door bells. MEDICAL ISSUES: He may have allergies as his eyes often have a mucus build up in both eyes but he enjoys getting his eyes wiped.
