Story
Maddie is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Maddie is a calm, sweetheart with a cute "pouty" bottom lip and big, golden eyes. She can be a little timid meeting new people but warms up quickly. Maddie's hidden talent is that she could eat non stop and still be skinny - people often think she is larger than she is, but she's solidly a medium sized pup at around 46 lbs. She also is a cute grunter, snorter and she has earned the nickname "lil piggy" because of her noises. So far Maddie has done well with every dog she has met and lives with two large furry foster siblings. Even dogs that don't seemed to be impressed with her, she gets the hint and usually leaves them alone. Alternatively, she isn't a fan of pushy dogs but leaves them alone without incident. Maddie's daytime routine currently consists of eating breakfast and some morning activity (wrestling with her Corso bro, sniffari, or a walk) and then she is perfectly content napping. She usually spends a few hours napping next to her foster mom's desk during the work day. She would make a great office pet as she stays quiet during Zoom meetings and other calls. Maddie has not been tested with cats but she has seemed interested in chasing squirrels & rabbits so she may need a cat-free home or thoughtful, slow integration with a very dog-savvy cat. Overall, Maddie is a lovely, medium energy dog that is affectionate with her people but can also settle nearby. An easy-going pup, Maddie seems okay with most things. She's a confident, curious and friendly little girl that will make a great addition to a variety of different homes and lifestyles. ATTRIBUTES: Maddie does well with dogs. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
If large, boxy headed breeds are your favorite, then Duke is your man! Duke is believed to be a mastiff mix and is 73 pounds of love. This big boy is looking for a place to call his own after an extended shelter stay. Now in a foster home, Duke is proving to be a gentleman. He is housebroken and is working on his crate training skills. He clearly loves his people and insists he is a lap dog of course. Duke is curious about the cats in his foster home, but accepts hissing as his warning to go find another activity. He is loving the variety of bones offered in his foster home! Duke is newer to our rescue and we will make updates soon! Duke is neutered and vaccinated! This dog's adoption fee is $400. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on information we may have been provided, and the appearance of the animal.

Frizzle is a very sweet girl. She loves getting pets and attention. She is a big baby. She is doing very well with other dogs and gets along great with all sizes. She plays well and is very gentle. I call her my sweet potatoe girl. Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.  For more information on the pet, please send an email to info@aforeverhome.org July 12, 2024, 11:53 am

Story
Hercules is looking for someone to be their hero.  This 3 year old 170 pound Bull Mastiff is massive and definitely the size of a small pony.  He is a lazy, affectionate big OOF that needs someone bigger and stronger than him to make him their sidekick in life.  Being the only dog would be so good for him since the former owner never socialized him with other dogs.  He assumed that Hercules might be a little aggressive or assertive and so we just don’t know for sure.   Maybe a female dog would be fine but we doubt a male would be a good idea in the future home.  He is not great on a leash.  Noone took that time to really train him but it still is doable with the right person knowing how to do it.  He is housebroken, crate trained and he is not destructive in the house.  This boy will make you laugh, make you want to protect him (even though he is big) and he will love you unconditionally and who in the world would ever break in to your home!?  Goodness they would be insane.   This boy loves people though….but if you don’t know him then he could be a nice guardian.   A fenced yard would be the perfect environment for everyone.  If you qualify, then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 12, 2024, 5:05 pm
