Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 7/14/26 WAIVED ADOPTION FEECeleste can’t stay in rescue forever, she really needs to find her forever home! She’s holding up a spot for others in need, plus she deserves a home of her own. PLEASE SHAREShe needs hundreds of shares to help get her “seen”! We have tons more pictures of her, this site only lets us put 4. Email us or check out our Facebook for more pics https://www.facebook.com/share/1G3E3BAG2b/?mibextid=wwXIfr She needs to be the only dog in the home. She can go for walks and such and pass by other dogs, but can’t live with other dogs. It is VERY hard to find homes for dogs who need to be the only pet in the home. She loves people!! She is all the things. A stunning beauty, heartwarmingly affectionate, and playfully mischievous in the most innocent way. She follows some basic commands such as “sit”, is house trained, and very food motivated. We believe her to be a Great Dane mix, with possibly a dash of Mastiff thrown in there. Maybe some Catahoula? Lab? We don’t know for sure. At about 80 lbs and just over a year old, she could still grow some. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Story
Meet Thalia! Thalia is a sweet, happy girl who always seems to have a wagging tail and is ready to soak up all the attention you have to give. Since settling into her foster home, she has begun to decompress and show more of her personality, gaining confidence and starting to explore the world around her. Thalia does well with calm dogs and prefers to walk in the back of the pack, taking everything in at her own pace. On walks, she has shown very little prey drive. She has encountered squirrels and even a fox without much interest beyond mild curiosity—after all, they seem like pretty strange-looking dogs to her! While Thalia has not yet been cat tested, her calm and curious reactions to wildlife suggest she may do well with cats. As with any new introduction, we would recommend a slow and proper transition. We're still getting to know this lovely girl and will share more about her personality as she continues to settle in and blossom. For now, we can tell you that Thalia is a joyful, affectionate companion who is ready to find a family of her own.

Story
Meet Shrimp Taco. 🐾 Three-year-old Taco is a 95-pound Mastiff with an even bigger heart. He’s incredibly intelligent, loyal, goofy, and forms deep bonds with the people he trusts. Whether he’s leaning against you for affection, following you from room to room, or proudly carrying around one of his favorite toys, Taco is happiest when he’s with his people. Like many dogs who have experienced stress and uncertainty, Taco needs time to adjust to new environments and new people. He can be protective of those he loves and thrives with clear boundaries, structure, and patient introductions. Since entering foster care, he has made tremendous progress and continues to show just how eager he is to learn. He’s highly food motivated, knows several commands, and genuinely wants to do the right thing. Taco would do best with an experienced adopter who understands guardian breeds and is committed to continuing his training. In return, you’ll gain a devoted companion who will love you with everything he has. He’s looking for someone willing to see beyond his past and into the incredible dog he’s becoming.

Story
Meatball is a sweet, goofy guy who's ready to find a family to call his own! He came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his past, but we've loved getting to know him and watching his personality shine. When Meatball first arrived, he had a tail injury that required surgical repair, but he's healing well and showing more of his playful side every day. He may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he decides you're a friend, you'll meet the total goofball hiding underneath that initial shyness. Meatball came in with another pup, so he may enjoy having a canine companion in his new home. As always, thoughtful management and proper introductions will be important to help set everyone up for success. No cats for him though! If you're looking for a fun-loving buddy who just needs a little patience and a chance to shine, Meatball is ready to meet you!
