Story
Meet Max – A Gentle Soul with His Best Friend by His Side Max is a 5-year-old Miniature Poodle mix with a quiet strength and a heart full of potential. He arrived alongside his best friend, Teddy, after spending their entire lives living outdoors with minimal human interaction. When they were rescued just in time #ThanksToDaisy, they were scared, unsure, and unaccustomed to the comforts of being pets. Now safe in a loving foster home, Max is slowly beginning to understand what it means to feel secure. He’s learning to enjoy soft blankets, calm spaces, and the kindness of patient humans. His progress has been steady and heartfelt, and through it all, Teddy has been his constant companion, offering comfort and confidence as they explore their new world together. We are currently accepting adoption applications for Max—and while any loving home would be a blessing, we’re especially hopeful to find someone who can adopt both Max and Teddy together. Their bond is deep and enduring, and staying together would mean everything to them as they continue their healing journey. If you’re interested in adopting Max (or even better—Max and Teddy as a pair), please email us at info@daisyslegacy.org. 🐾 Sponsor or Support Max’s Journey Not ready to adopt but want to help? Meet Teddy – A Brave Heart with His Best Friend by His Side Teddy is a 5-year-old Miniature Poodle mix who has already made incredible progress on his journey to a better life. Frightened and unsure of the world around them, they were rescued just in time #ThanksToDaisy, and are now safe in a loving foster home. Story
This handsome Miniature Poodle boy is called Wrigley and he is a young 3 year old, 14 pound sweetheart looking for a home.  His life started off with a breeder and he was purchased as a Christmas gift for young children who soon grew tired of the novelty puppy.  They were supposed to take care of him and the parents were not willing to pick up the slack for his care.  The solution was to put this poor 14 pound boy outside on a tie out in the cold elements of Winter.  A neighbor grew so concerned about him and asked if they would give him up to a rescue.  They fortunately agreed and soon this handsome Poodle was in the right hands that could change his life.  He needed to be neutered and it has been done with all other vetting.  Wrigley is a happy boy despite the lack of love and past care.  He seems to have been unfazed that he spent time alone outside and not receiving the real love and snuggles that he so freely gives now to his foster mom. He is housebroken once again and he has left the horror of being on a tie-out far behind.  He is crate trained and we have groomed him just before neutering him.  He has a whole new life ahead of him and we have polished him up to look as dapper as he could before leaving for a new forever home. If you have been looking for a young Poodle to rescue and love then, this is a rare opportunity to get a fully vetted boy with no hidden issues or fears.  He is fine with other dogs, cats and gets along great with everyone he meets. Wrigley was wonderful to the children in the first home even though they did not appreciate him. This treasure is just waiting for a miracle family to love him.  Could that be you?  He is in Tennessee and we transport northward almost every weekend.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested.   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 14, 2025, 10:23 pm

Story
Beetle is a 5-year-old Mini Poodle/Bichon Frise mix (possibly part Shih Tzu) with a big personality and even bigger energy! 🐾 He loves treats, knows a few tricks, and enjoys short games of fetch or being chased around the yard. He’s best suited for a home with a fenced yard or active lifestyle. He thrives when he has room to run and explore. Beetle can be reactive on walks (especially toward other dogs), but with patience and consistency, he settles over time. He prefers slow introductions to new pets. Beetle has a mix of independence and cuddliness, he’ll want attention sometimes, but also likes his space. He would do best with a dog-savvy adopter who understands high-energy dogs and can continue to work with his behaviors. We’re rehoming due to behavioral challenges that no longer align with our home. He deserves a space where his energy and personality are a better fit. We want to choose the right home so he’ll finally get the structure and attention he needs to thrive!
