Simba is from Greece. He has been with us since he is 3 months old. He is going to be 12 in May. He has been a huge part of our family but in the past 6 months has started to have a barking problem. He has been on xanex and it helps sometimes. I think it may be triggered by our 1.5 year old daughter. I am having a baby in April and we will not be able to keep a barking dog in the house. He is not aggressive, has never biten or even tried to bite but he is an anxious dog and I believe that is part of his barking problem. We are very sad to let Simba go, but we think we need to. We hope to find a very loving home for him.

Story
When we where looking for a dog to adopt; as a companion for my mom; we wanted a small dog under 20 lbs. The shelter we rescued her from said she was small breed chihuahua mix, almost 44lbs later and I don't think she is a chihuahua. Due to her size and strength my mom has a difficult time handling her and I work odd hours at the hospital sometimes 16 hours. And its not fair for Luna she is a very active dog needs lots of exercise and sadly neither I nor my mother can give her that. Luna is a very good and sweet dog. ;She does have that high energy of a 1 year old puppy; is good with children, cats and other dogs but do recommend supervision as she has a tendency to get amped up when excited. She is currently using wee wee pads and going outside and walks, but does miss the pad occasionally. she also gets into things and chews cords but she is is getting better at not doing it. We are not looking for to sell her but make sure she gets a good, loving home.

Story
Bertie is a very sweet rescue dog that loves being around people. She is about 3 years old (estimated age) and 28 pounds. We adopted her from St. Hubert's in Madison, NJ, and they had little information about her history. She loves to sit on the couch next to you and have her ears scratched. She enjoys walks and walks well on a leash. She does not have a ton of energy, but will fetch a ball or toy a few times while playing. She is fully housebroken and does not chew or destroy furniture when she is bored or anxious. She knows the commands SIT, STAY, DOWN, WAIT, CRATE, and GO TO BED (she will stay in her bed for the entire time we are eating). She is working on loose leash walking and only pulls when she gets a good scent or sees another dog. We are rehoming Bertie because our older dog does not get along with her, and we are unable to rehome him. She does well with all people and older children. We do not know how she is with young children or cats since we do not have any

Story
Mercury will be 2 in February, unknown mixed breed. My MIL got him from someone, probably before he was ready. She fell ill shortly after, and recently passed. He's had his second distemper & yearly rabies shots 11/8 and is neutered 11/10. We 2 large male dogs, so the addition has been stressful. Before coming to us, he lived with his 9 yr old brother; a golden shepard mix and two cats( male & female). In an all female household. They were left alone daily while the household worked, for roughly 8 hrs. Although not trained, he is housebroken. He understands no and sit, working on stay. Mercury is affectionate and does well one on one. He is still young so he is active. He is not leashed trained, but a work in progres and can be food driven. Since being with us this week he and been aggressive towards his brother; growling and posturing, but not at all with our boys. Breaks our heart, but he needs a loving patient home.

Hi everyone! This is Nala. She is the light of my heart, and this has been the most difficult decision that I have ever made in my life. Nala is 4 years old and her birthday is 5/31/21. I am looking to rehoming her because she deserves a better life with parents that are able to give her the attention that she deserves. I have a very odd work schedule which does not allow me to spend time with her. I am looking for someone who is able to spend time with her on walks or the doggy park or even take her on new adventures. She does really well with kids and adults. She does not bite unless you are play fighting with her and you invite that behavior. Nala is very independent and sassy and very good with commands (quick learner). She has the most beautiful eyes, and she looks at you with love and care.
