Chance is a one of a kind dog, who loves to be loved. He is a snuggle machine, and a perfect gentleman. His favorite pass time though is being loved on by kiddos. He is fully house trained, and knows how to use a doggy door. He's not the biggest fan of kenneling or bath time, he just needs a little encouragement, but doesn't make a fuss about either. He does extremely well with other dogs, he's never shown us any aggression or misbehaved with other pups. Loves to take walks with his family, and laying out on the cool grass. Looking for a solid, well rounded dog? From humans, dogs, cats, and livestock, he doesn't have an ounce of aggression in him. Chance is the sweetest thing. Perfect gentleman in the car. After only one week with us, Marvel (the Pyr shot with the arrow) is relaxing and beginning to trust. Like a scared toddler when he first arrived, he would put his head to the ground and close his eyes when approached. He no longer does that! And i LOVE that every morning he wags his tail and bobs his head (sometimes Pyr talking) with happiness when he sees me and my husband. Marvel is a beautiful boy with a proper Pyr personality! Intelligent, gentle, observant, a bit strong-willed, and at times aloof! For all he has been through, it is amazing how he is adapting to the present! Sweet Marvel is improving every day and gaining his confidence in humans back. He is a sweet boy, healing his poor neglected and then shot body. Found shot with an arrow, hiding under a parked vehicle for safety. Poor guy was bleeding and in pain. He was rushed to the ER and thankfully it didn't hit any major organs, and they were able to get it out completely. Luffy was adopted as a puppy. As the family has evolved over time, it was discovered that the toddler in the home is highly allergic to dogs. They reached out to LHS for assistance finding him the home he deserves.  Luffy is crate trained (but can also be trusted to have free roam of the house), housebroken and known basic commands. He is wonderful with other dogs but would do best in a home with older children as the crazy toddlers can be a little much for him at times. He takes Apoquel once a day for his allergies (his adopters will get this medication and LHS will assist with refill at cost - $50 a month).  He has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and current on heartworm prevention. Hello, I'm Barney! Let's be a happy family! I am a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees/Saint Bernard mix that weighs around 85 Lbs. Sadly, my owner passed away and I had nowhere to go. A family member offered to foster me while looking for a FURever home. I am house broken and walk pretty well on a leash. I am a very sweet boy who gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. Even though I am good with other dogs and know that friends come in all shapes and sizes, meet and greets are recommended prior to adoption if you have another dog in the home. I would be great for a person or family looking for a calm, easy going dog to add to the home. I am neutered, current on my rabies vaccination, boosters to date, heartworm negative and microchipped.
