I found Karen in a vacant construction site. She was hungry and dehydrated so I took her home. I had no intentions of keeping her for long since I already have one dog, but she stole my heart with her loving personality. I have had her for a little over a year now, but the more she grows the more I realize that she needs a lot more space than my small house/yard is giving her. She is crate trained and house trained. She is very friendly with other dogs and kids. She loves to be petted and given attention. Karen is goofy, playful, and energetic. She just needs a good home with lots of outdoor space and love!

Need to rehome our Pyrenees mix sibling pair. 5 years old. Have been with cattle, but no experience with other livestock. Spayed and neutered. Up to date with vaccines. We don't have livestock anymore, so they're stuck in the small backyard. On top of that, we're moving to a city and cannot take them with us. We'd like to rehome as soon as possible. We tried to housetrain, but they're wild and free and did not take to it. They're good dogs. Great with kids and cats. They do not like having strangers give them haircuts! We have XL Igloos for both.

Hello! I’m sweet, gentle Lux. A nice volunteer wanted me to share her thoughts about me with you: Y’all this pup is a dream. Actually, I don’t think he’s a dog at all. The nice people at the Rowlett shelter say he’s a Great Pyrenees but if you’ve ever seen the movie ‘Never Ending Story’ you might recognize him as a very special and rare good-luck dragon. His name is Lux and I’m pretty sure his dad is the famous Falkor; the wise and optimistic dragon hero who saved Fantasia. Lux is a big, slobbery boy at 80 lbs. but he’s under-weight and folks at the shelter say he will be closer to 120 lbs. after he’s in a loving home with plenty of good and healthy food. Although he’s huge he is also incredibly gentle, calm, and is perfect on a leash (even when walking past the scary barking dog who lives on my street). Lux had a recent shelter outing and was calm in the car, friendly with the people at Scooters where he thoroughly enjoyed a pup cup, and gentle when visiting two playful kittens. He potties outside and didn’t have any accidents in the house. This guy will absolutely be a best friend and amazing addition to whoever is the lucky family who will get to take him home. Good luck in finding a better family ‘dog’ (aka good luck dragon) than lovable Lux. Please come and visit Lux. Chloe is a 3 year old purebred Bernese mountain dog. She is a loving, affectionate, and loyal dog. She is very laid back, clingy girl and is very protective of us. She barks at strangers, specially men so I need someone who will be patient with her. She has never been aggressive with other dogs or children. She does need her rabies and heart worm pill. She weighs around 80lbs. Please research the breed before contacting me. We want her to go to a great loving pet home where she will be loved and spoiled. I would prefer to rehome her to an active family/person that has a backyard or will give her the exercise she needs.
