Hello, my name is Cricket! I am a 11 week old male Lab/Great Pyr mix that weighs around 22lbs.I was found with what is presumed to be my sibling off State Highway 276 in Rockwall County on 7/16/26. Unfortunately, nobody came to reclaim me, so I came to the Rockwall Adoption Center to find my forever home. I am a sweet, affectionate puppy who would love a family with the time and patience to help me grow into a wonderful companion. I have been diagnosed with ringworm, which is a common and treatable fungal skin infection, not a worm. It can spread to people and other animals through direct contact, so I will remain contagious until August 16, 2026. I have already started treatment, and my adopter will simply need to continue my medication until it is complete. My adoption fee is $125 and includes my spay, rabies vaccine, microchip, Bord/Dappv boosters to date, and dewormer. Please note: I am required to return to the Rockwall Adoption Center on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, for my neuter surgery and rabies vaccine. This appointment is mandatory and part of my adoption contract. Barry has a lot more of a white Lab build and coat, but still total Pyrenees couch potato energy, even as a puppy! His foster family affectionately calls him 'Butter Bear' because he is so sweet and squishy. He is sweet with people. He can be a little bashful, but will give you gentle kisses and snuggles. He did great at our recent adoption event meeting lots of little kids and adults, he didn't jump up on anyone and ended up laying down calmly. Barry is great with dogs. He loves to play and roughhouse with the large dogs in his foster home. He hasn't been tested with cats or small dogs, but his foster family thinks he would do well with them. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Barry is very go with the flow. He is house trained. He walks beautifully on the leash, keeping a perfect strolling pace! He gets a little nervous during car rides and will drool a lot. He has been with his foster family since he was a young puppy found on the streets, so he will need his forever family to be patient with him while he settles in. Barry is currently in a foster home in DFW area, Texas. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging their own transportation - most make the drive themselves. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Kiera! She is a beautiful and sweet 5 yr old Great Pyrenees mix. She is currently underweight at 60lbs, but loves having her extra meals and treats as we are slowly putting some weight back on her. Kiera loves people, dogs of all sizes, and does really well (ignores) the cat in her foster home. She has not met children yet but based on her gentle and calm nature, and that she doesn't jump up, we think she would do great. She enjoys meeting new people. Keira is very mellow and low energy, spending most the day napping with her dog friends or near her foster mom. At night she likes to go back and forth between her foster parents getting pets and cuddles. She will try to get the dogs in her foster home to play sometimes, but they are older and not interested. She would love to have a playful companion in her home but would also be okay being an only dog. She loves stuffy toys and does not shred them. It's clear she has never been on a leash before coming to her foster home and was only used for breeding. She is very hesitant and will refuse/pancake as she gets nervous. If her family likes to go on walks or public outings they will have to have some patience and put in some training with Kiera before she will be ready. Luckily she has low exercise needs and is more of a speed bump. She is potty trained and will let you know when she wants to go outside. She rides well in the car but currently needs assistance jumping in. She doesn't bark much other than the occasional random barking when she hears something but can be redirected. She is very patient getting a bath and does well. Kiera is a very sweet, mellow girl looking for a forever home to spoil her. She is spayed and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $250.
