Hi! I'm Helen! I'm an approximately 1 year old, 60 Lbs., female, Great Pyr/Lab mix. I was found with a friend on Clark Street in Rockwall on 04/22/2025 and never reclaimed. I am learning to walk on a leash and am working on crate training. I am not super jumpy and enjoy taking it easy. I especially enjoy snuggling up on a big, comfy couch with my loved ones. If you have another pet in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and I'm heart worm negative! Meet Barney! This pup was wondering around our community for weeks as a stray. Catching him wasn’t easy but let me tell ya, now that he’s had a taste of AC he’s never going back to the stray life haha. Barney in typical Great Pyrenees fashion is an absolute LOVER. He wants do be near his humans and he wants that Pyr fur all over you! Great with dogs big and small although not super playful. Definitely more of a wallflower with the occasional zoomie. Leash work is still a work in progress which for this breed is a lifelong project. What he lacks in that department however he makes up for in looks and charm. -House/Crate Trained -Good with other dogs -Over the top loving -Moderate energy -Loves being with his human. Barney is such a sweet and well tempered boy that woudl do best in a quiet house, as he can be a nervous nelly. We do not ships dog out of state. All adopters must travel to Dallas to meet their potential animal in person before moving forward with an adoption trial run.

This boy is a big love bug, but my English bulldog girl doesn't like him (no fault of his). We tried everything to make it work. He is current with his shots and yearly exam. He is healthy and playful. He is 2.5 years old. He knows his basic commands. He is a Pyrenees mix ( Embark says 65.8% Pyrenees/34.2% American Pit Bull Terrier). Would love to find a great home for him. He is awesome on a leash and doesn't have a problem with people or other dogs. He for sure protects his house though and lets you know. He loves to be inside and outside. Potty trained. He isn't destructive. He is crate trained, but only goes in there now if work is being done in the house or if he chooses to relax in there on his own. Roams the house with no problems. He has an extra large crate, toys, beds, bowls, leashes and harnesses that will come with him. Will travel for right home.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Phoebe! She is a sweet badger girl rescued from a local shelter. Born around January 2022, she is fully grown and on the smaller side for the breed at a petite 65 pounds. Phoebe is submissive and a little shy when people approach her, but she will walk right up to anybody on her own for pets and loving. Phoebe is good with other dogs, and will usually submit to a more dominant dog. She enjoys playing with larger dogs, and leaves little dogs alone. She would be good as an only dog if she has other dogs to play with on occasion. She is good on a leash, but would do well in a harness because she has a tendency to pull. She rides well in a car if she can look out the window. Phoebe is not a fan of grooming. Phoebe is very afraid of loud noises like thunder and fireworks, so she needs a little nook to hide in when she feels compelled. She’s a very vigilant guard dog, keeping all the pesky squirrels and birds out of her yard. She may not eat a lot the first few days after arriving to her forever home, but will eat regularly once she feels more comfortable. Phoebe is a very loving girl just waiting for the right home. SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old.
