Story
Nubby (first known to our rescue as Domino) is hoping he’ll be someone’s FUREVER Valentine this year ♥ Nubby was surrendered back to our care after his home caught fire, and family’s housing situation changed. Nubby likes to be low-key. He is the perfect companion for someone looking for a dog that will snuggle with them on the sofa as he is an expert. Nubby would love a quiet home (respectful or older children, no hyperactive dogs). A home that has a large fenced-in yard would be ideal, although not a must-have for this boy. Nubby is overall very low maintenance as long as his furever home is quiet. He is a very social dog and loves being around people. One of Nubby's cutest features is his nubby tail he wags every time he sees someone. He loves car rides and is happy to go wherever his new family would take  him. www.mostlymuttz.org Great with cats, dogs Requires fenced in yard 43 lbs Domino is being fostered in Springfield (Delaware County), Pennsylvania). #handsomesenior #mostlymuttzrescue #adoptabledogs #rescuedismyfavoritebreed  If you are interested in adopting Nubby and would like to provide the loving home this boy deserves, please contact Mostly Muttz! You can apply at https://www.mostlymuttz.org/adoption-application/. Story
ABOUT LUCKY CLOVER This gorgeous girl is a 1 year old Plott Hound mix. Lucky Clover came to HAP on a rescue flight from multiple southern, high-intake shelters. There, she was at risk for euthanasia because she had given birth to a litter of pups and the shelter did not have space for them. All of her babies are in foster and unavailable at this time, but now that they are no longer nursing she is hoping to find her forever home! **Lucky Clover recently had puppies and she has not been spayed yet. Due to this, she has not been introduced to other dogs yet. At this time, she is available for foster or foster-to-adopt! Once she is healthy enough to safely spay her, she will be ready for adoption. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Meet Holly. Holly came to us from an Alabama shelter very pregnant. She had her pups and they are now weaned. Holly is very friendly and social. We believe she is some sort of hound mix about 3 years old. Holly weighs about 45 lbs. She does well with other dogs in her foster home. Holly is a very sweet girl that will need a home with a securely fenced in yard or someone that will keep her on a leash. Holly is scheduled to be spayed on March 20, 2024 and will be ready for adoption. She is also a candidate for foster to adopt if you are within an hour of the rescue. Holly is now up to date with vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Holly,  please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application.  ##1915154##

Story
Meet Banjo! Banjo is a 5 year old Plott Hound mix weighing about 65 pounds. He is a beautiful boy with his brindle coat and white chest and markings and he has the most expressive face. Banjo is a sweetheart and a fragile soul that likes to be told he is a good boy and he just wants to please. Banjo loves to be active and is a high energy dog. He enjoys walks, hikes, car rides, and playing. Most of all, Banjo enjoys cuddling with his people on the couch. Banjo struggles with confidence and anxiety issues, but has been working on these things with a trainer and will do wonderfully in the right home while continuing his hard work and with an adopter that is knowledgeable with anxious dogs. Banjo is reactive to new situations and he is learning to come out of his shell and be more engaged in the world and not so selective and nervous around strangers. Banjo is also very food motivated! Banjo is well versed in obedience training and knows sit, crawl, down, stay, bed, speak, and roll over. He is muzzle trained, house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Banjo will not chew on bones or play with toys and his fosters are working on getting him to learn what toys are. Banjo would be best in a home with a single person or couple. Banjo gets along with other dogs when introduced slowly, he will play with them, and could do well in a home with multiple dogs but needs the proper iand slow introduction with an experinced dog owner. Banjo would prefer a home with no children and likes women more than men. Banjo requires a fenced in yard and an active adopter. If you are interested in adopting Banjo, please go to our website at charliescrusaders.org and fill out our adoption application.  ##386437##
