Sweet Beaumont is new to us, but we know already what a wonderful dog he is! He is currently in boarding and already a huge favorite of our kennel manager who says all the time 'I LOVE Beaumont. He is a super nice dog!' He is quiet and gentle and great with everyone he meets - including dogs of all shapes and sizes. He is clean in his kennel and waits to go outside to go potty. And if that is not enough reason to adopt Beaumont, he happens to beautiful too! If you are interested in adopting or fostering Beaumont, please let us know! Thank you for your interest in Beaumont! Story
Kimberly ended up in a rural shelter with her puppies, and she was a wonderful mom. Her puppies look like little golden retriever puppies, and she kept them safe and warm and well fed. It was clear that no one was feeding her enough because she is very thin but that did not stop her from giving and giving to her puppies! . We would love to get Kimberly into a foster home because we suspect she has gone through a lot keeping watch over her puppies. She is very clean in her kennel and does not chew on anything, Given how thin she is, Kimberly is very food motivated. Please consider this girl as a foster or to adopt. It is her time now! Thank you for your interest in Kimberly! Please visit www.hart90.org/petdetail.aspx?ID=17089 to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on this pet, to email the contact person listed for more information and how to meet Kimberly, or to submit an online application. HART adopts to the local DC/VA/MD metro area only. Visit our website for more information about our adoption process.

Please contact Rachel Durnin (racheld2@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.Handsome young man looking for a home!RANDALL NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:   Randall          Best Guess for Breed:   Pointer and hound mix      Best Guess for Age:   2 years as of February 2024          SEX:    Male   Approximate Weight:   38 lbs   Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We're not sure if Randall gets along with cats or children but we can test him if you're interested!   Currently Living at:   DC area foster home.   Randall is Looking For:    His forever home! Through no fault of his own, this handsome boy ended up in the shelter. He is full of fun, young dog energy and is ready to have his own humans to trot alongside on sniffy walks, romps in local parks, and all the adventures they can dream up! Exploring all the toys sounds great too, as well as some delicious kibble and a cushy dog bed.   Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof every time the sun goes down. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes, cuddles, and loyalty for all his days.   What do you say? Is Randall the companion you've been looking for? What My Foster Says About Me:    'Randall gets along well with almost all dogs and people! He goes into his kennel at night and is quiet until I wake up.  Potty training is going well; he seems to have learned that he needs to go outside. Randall is still learning his house manners a bit, but he is really a wonderful dog!' Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Please contact Melissa A Aten (melissaa@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet. She'll hop right into your heart! BUNNY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:  Bunny            Best Guess for Breed:  Pointer/Lab Mix      Best Guess for Age: 11 weeks as of 3/22            SEX:  Female   Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!):  18lbs as of 4/2   Gets Along With:  Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Special Adoption Considerations:  Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.  Bunny is Looking For:  Hiya! I'm Bunny! The nice people in this shelter have been great, but I am ready to pack my bags and find my very own forever home! I'm looking for a home that will let me play with toys and get my puppy zoomies out and give me snuggles in between playtimes. When I'm a little older, I can't wait to explore my new neighborhood on lots of walks, and I'd really like to make a bunch of doggie friends along the way. Oh, and I should probably take a puppy obedience class or two so I can show you how smart I am. What do you say? Do you have room in your heart for me? What My Foster Says About Me: Bunny is an awesome puppy! She loves being around people and plays a lot while also needing a lot of sleep. She is curious about all the noises and sounds outside, and is lovable and sits at my feet while working on the computer. Puppy Vetting Requirements:        Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.      Due to this puppy’s young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than July 5, 2024. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date. A non-refundable spay/neuter deposit will be collected if you would like Lucky Dog to pay for this animal to be spayed/neutered at one of our low cost partner vets.   Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!  TO ADOPT:       The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.    If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online bit.ly/adoptaluckydog   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption.
