This incredible dog is ready to dazzle you with her impressive repertoire of commands, including sit, calm place, leave it, shake, and drop. Pippi's training has transformed her into one of our most exceptional dogs, and now she's eagerly waiting for the perfect home to showcase her talents. But Pippi is not just about obedience and skills; she's also a bundle of joy and enthusiasm. Her love for toys, especially balls, is boundless. Get ready for endless games of fetch and tug-of-war with this energetic and fun-loving pooch. Her expressive eyes will melt your heart as she eagerly awaits your playtime adventures. While Pippi is incredibly smart and well-trained, she's still working on her leash skills. Sometimes she can't contain her excitement when she spots a cat, squirrel, or even a moving bike. But don't worry, our trainer is helping her build confidence and improve her leash manners. With a little patience and guidance, Pippi will conquer the world by your side. At 6 1/2 years old and weighing 47 pounds, Pippi is the perfect size for a cozy home. She is fully house trained and has always been a dog's dog, making her a fantastic companion for any canine-loving household. Let's give this beautiful girl the chance to leave the boarding facility behind and find the loving forever home she deserves. If you're unable to provide a permanent home, fostering Pippi would also make a world of difference. You can be a stepping stone in her journey towards a forever family. Together, we can make Pippi's dreams come true and ensure she experiences a life filled with unconditional love, endless playtime, and joyful adventures. So, what are you waiting for? Story
Meet our girl Orchid! Orchid currently lives in boarding and is ready to find her furever home, or a foster home that will welcome her and show her life in a loving home! Orchid's life started out ruff, and when she was found as a stray with her puppy, she understandably had a lot of fear. Orchid is in the Good Canine Citizen group. Through her work in this group, she has gained her confidence back and has become a very happy, sweet girl, who is a calming influence on other dogs. Orchid may start off a bit shy, but once she warms up you will have lots of kisses and a loyal best friend for life. Orchid is excited to find a comfy bed and a special toy she can call her own. She isn't hugely food motivated, but she would like her new family to know that she does like hot dogs, string cheese, chicken and especially Gogurt!! She loves to walk, is great on a leash and knows basic commands. She just needs someone to step up and show her what life in a home is all about. She is smart and ready to please so have no doubt she would adapt quickly. She is mild mannered but just needs a little time to adjust. We recommend a home with no small children, as they do alarm her a bit. Don't miss out on this Certified Beauty! This precious mom and her sole pup were found as strays and brought to the shelter. Mom was emaciated and so frightened what her future held for her and her baby. They clearly had not known love and attention. The baby was so attached to mom and probably the only pup to have survived. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Evie was adopted two years ago. She was 8 weeks old when we got her. She is house and crate trained, but struggles on a leash. She knows sit, lay down, go to your bed, and stay. She can be stubborn and strong willed. Evie is very affectionate and loves attention. We are looking to rehome her due to a change in my work schedule where I am not working from home anymore. I do not want to leave her in a crate for 8-10 hours a day. Looking for someone who will love her and give her the time and attention she needs.

Story
Milo came all the way from a Border town in Mexico.  Very few get out and he was so scared we just had to save him.  He was a small boy = weighing only 34 lbs, but has gained healthy weight and is now up to 55lbs.  He was shut down completely when we got him.  Now that he is in a foster home he is doing so much better. He loves to play with other dogs and would do best with another dog to make him feel confident.  He is adorable, sweet, and cuddly. He is also cat friendly. Because of his fear we think he would be best with older children if any.  Toddlers would scare him with quick movements most likely. codys_adoption_application. ##1111626##

Story
Hello there! I'm Guppy! I am a 5 year old, male, 33 pound, pointer mix. I was adopted as a puppy and returned because my owner didn't have time for me. I am a sweet, friendly, and loving boy. After a few slim jims, I'm ready to be your best friend! We can play and run around! And if I really like you, I might even cuddle with you. I would not be good in a house with small kids because I can get startled by fast movements. My perfect home would give me plenty of time and patience to warm up and be my true self! Could you be the person for me?Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM.
