Palo is a 5 year old Pomeranian mix weighing 17 pounds, and he’s full of personality! This spunky little guy is super friendly and greets everyone he meets with excitement and enthusiasm. Palo came to us from a high intake shelter and is now settling in beautifully at our rescue center. Palo gets along well with other dogs and would love a home where he can continue to learn and thrive. He’s up to date on vaccinations, will be neutered soon, and is already showing how smart he is, he knows how to sit for treats and is eager to keep learning! Palo will do best with an adopter who’s willing to continue his basic training and enjoy his playful, affectionate nature.

My dad’s dog who we took in because he couldn’t really take care off anymore. Very good dog, rarely barks. Will just lay in his bed most of the day. Loves his walks, only has one eye from an accident awhile back. We are moving to Tennessee in a little over a month and aren’t able to take him with us. He does shed a lot because he is part Pomeranian.

I’m not charging a fee for adoption; my priority is to find a loving and compatible home for Nina and Simone. I would like to rehome Nina and Simone together. They are a bonded pair. They love each other very much. They are named after the famous singer Nina Simone. They are beautiful girls little couch potatoes but they do enjoy playing as well. They are both house trained. I would prefer adopting them to an older person with a calm lifestyle that enjoys being home with their two pups. Nina Simone are accustomed to having a backyard with space to run and play with each other. They love short walks as they have little legs. Nina is a friendly girl. Simone is a bit shy — they both love treats. I love Nina and Simon very much but due to a strenuous work schedule I just don’t have the time to give them the care they deserve. My work schedule has become increasingly busy.

Pomi was rescued from a kill shelter. Many of these dogs at the shelter have barely survived the hardships of street life, car accidents, or abuse, only to end up in shelters. But once they enter the shelter system, they often disappear completely from society’s view, living lives no different from death itself. WEACT's Pomi was found in the Hongseong County Shelter with a completely shattered pelvis. Examinations showed that the injury had occurred long ago and had been left untreated. But what broke our hearts the most was that, even with her body so damaged, she was still cradling her young puppies in her arms. Pomi, a strong mother who tried to protect her babies even in despair deeper than death. WEACT performed an emergency surgery to realign her broken bones and perform a bone graft, and Fomi is now steadily recovering.
