At two years, this 10-lb dynamo has the energy of a puppy and the agility of a circus performer. Georgie is a master of the great escape who can scale baby gates like they are mere speed bumps, so he is looking for a home that can keep up with his impressive climbing skills. He was extremely malnourished when he first came to us, but he is currently busy putting on weight and making up for lost time. This boy was born for obstacle courses and would make an incredible agility partner for the right person. Whether he is running circles around the yard or happily chewing on his favorite bones, Georgie is always ready for fun and absolutely loves his toys. When it is time to settle down, he is a pro at crate time. While he is still working on his leash manners, he is a smart, sweet boy who is eager to learn. He is looking for a family that appreciates his adventurous spirit and is ready to provide the patience and training he needs to thrive. If you are ready to bring home the most agile, playful, and sweet escape artist in town, apply to adopt Georgie today!-- Where did he come from: He managed to survive a house fire and sadly now needs a new home.   Adoption: ***** $600.00 ***** Weight: 10.0 lbs. Temperament: Drax is super sweet and gets along well with other dogs.  He loves meeting new people.  He is very smart and takes his insulin and eye drops like a pro.  Drax loves to lay out in the sunshine, but only if his family is nearby.  He does not take lightly to being left outside.  He is a quiet boy who rarely barks unless he's trying to "talk" to you as is common in Huskies.  Drax will make an excellent companion for anyone who is looking for someone to simply hang out with or go for a walk.  He does well in a crate for car rides. Meet Penny, a 9-year-old, 10lb bundle of absolute preciousness! This little butterball has a heart of gold and a spirit that is truly inspiring. While her past wasn’t always kind, Penny has officially closed that chapter and is ready to write a much better story—one filled with soft beds, gentle head scratches, and all the love she can handle. Penny is a lady on a mission! She is currently working on her fitness journey with a healthy diet to ensure she stays in tip-top shape for all the adventures (and naps) her new life will bring. She’s officially entered her "spoiled era," and she is looking for a family who is ready to treat her like the queen she is. If you’ve been searching for a companion who is as sweet as a slice of homemade pie and ready to fill your home with warmth and joy, Penny is the girl for you. Are you ready to help her start her happily ever after? --  Where did she come from: Sadly her owner was deported and she was left behind.  Adoption: ***** $600.00 ***** Weight: 10.50 lbs. ~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Don’t let his 6lb frame fool you—Bruno is a 3-year-old with the soul of a warrior and the attitude to match. He is officially "not for the faint of heart," but for the right person, he is the ultimate companion. Bruno is a classic "spicy" pup. He has a "tiny wolf" mentality and isn't afraid to use his teeth if he’s asked to do something he doesn’t like (like heading outside or being moved). He’s spent a lifetime being misunderstood, but we know the truth: Bruno is just a little guy who needs clear boundaries and a patient leader. He has previously been allowed to call the shots, so he needs an adopter who is comfortable with his "wolf" side—someone who won’t be intimidated by a growl or a snap, but will instead provide the firm, consistent structure he needs to feel secure. Because of his need for a controlled, predictable environment, Bruno will not be adopted into homes with children, nor can he go to homes where children frequently visit. Once he decides you’re his person, the transformation is incredible. He turns into a total mushy lap dog who loves his toys, chasing tiny balls, and long, polite walks on a leash. He’s house and kennel trained, but he is not a "meet and greet" kind of dog; he isn't fond of strangers and won't show his best side at first glance. If you are looking for a fierce little protector and have the experience and patience to look past his "little turd" moments, you’ll find a loyal, cuddly, and loving dog waiting to bond with his forever human. He won't win a "Best in Show" for his first impression, but if you can give him a chance, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re looking for a fierce little protector who will eventually be your biggest cuddle bug, Bruno is your guy. He can be a little turd, but he’s a good little turd who just needs a chance. Are you his person? Apply to adopt him today. -- Where did he come from: He was surrendered to our rescue when his family could no longer care for him.   Adoption: ***** $700.00 ***** Weight: 6.0 lbs. At 9 years old and a petite 7 pounds, this enchanting pup possesses a heart brimming with sweetness. While she was once a bit shy, Hanna is truly coming out of her shell and is quickly becoming a special girl who is ready to shine. Hanna’s journey has taught her resilience, and she is now embracing life with newfound confidence! She has recently discovered the joy of toys and is now happily asking for pets and belly rubs. She has also mastered the leash and truly enjoys her daily walks and spending time outside. With her breathtaking blue coat shimmering like the sky, Hanna is on a quest to find her forever home—a place where she can feel safe and cherished. She is crate trained and gets along splendidly with other dogs; in fact, she would love to have a playful canine companion in her new home. While she is generally cautious with new friends, she has been doing wonderfully around young children (including toddlers under 5), showing curiosity and a gentle interest in watching them play. Hanna is a curious girl who is ready to share her heart with a loving family. If you believe you can offer this sweet girl the fairy tale ending she dreams of, please apply to adopt her today and help her write the next beautiful chapter of her life! --  Where did she come from: Owner went into nursing home.  Adoption: ***** $800.00 ***** Weight: 7.0 lbs.
