Story

Harry is a sweetheart almost all of the time. Due to history, he does have some food aggression and should eat by himself in the safety of his own den/cage. He does well with the dogs and cats in his foster home but meeting a bigger dog he did not do as well. He does have a little chihuahua attitude. He is cuddly and likes to sleep under the covers. He definitely likes men, he seems to prefer my fiancé over me. He is potty trained but has marked, but we are hoping since neutered that will subside. In the meantime, he wears a belly band and that works well. He would probably do best in a home with smaller animals and bigger kids. Otherwise, he really is a good little dude. Just a few issues that we are working on. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. Joey is a sweet and loving 6-year-old Pomeranian mix who’s looking for a family to call his own. This little guy loves to play tug-of-war, go for car rides, and cuddle up in your lap for some quality snuggle time. He’s house and crate trained, making him a great fit for a variety of living situations. Although Joey has a previous leg injury, it doesn’t slow him down! He gets around just fine and still enjoys his daily walks and playtime. His loyalty to his human is unmatched – he will be your little shadow, always by your side. Joey thrives in a calm, loving home where he can get plenty of attention and affection. He’d do well as the only pet or in a home with other dogs that respect his space. He’s a great companion for someone who enjoys a mix of fun and relaxation, with lots of cuddles in between. Adoption Fee 275.00 We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
