Story
Brewtus was found roaming the streets in a busy area. After weeks of trying to locate his owners I decided to keep him. He has been an inside dog for the past year and a half. Due to unforeseen circumstances I have to find a new home for him. He is very tiny weighing in around 5lbs. He is not neutered and is very territorial. He has been groomed very short for this winter. He requires a lot of maintenance to keep him looking good. He has never been on a leash and never been on walks. He get all the exercise he needs running around in the backyard. He is a barker for sure and a very good alert dog. He will bark at any noise that comes from the front door. He sleeps in his kennel at night, but with better training he could be trusted to free roam all the time. He is able to free roam during the day when someone is present. He prefers carpet or rugs. We have hardwood floors and he is very cautious of them.

Is very friendly and affectionate right away. Easily trusts familiar people and seeks comfort from them. Priya is a Pomeranian/Husky puppy. She is the sweetest and cutest little ball of energy! She plays almost 24/7 (a tiny exaggeration) with a few hours of sleep to recharge. She will play with toys by herself, but playing with humans and other dogs is her favorite! Priya sleeps in her crate for 4-6 hours before needing to go outside to go potty. She is being crate trained and potty training is at about 50%. Priya will thrive with another high-energy dog to play with or kids who will keep her busy. Ideally she will have access to a large space or backyard to run around in. She is good with other dogs. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Basic Information * With People: Is a little shy and tense around strangers at first, but quickly warms up if offered treats. Accepts human touch well. * With Dogs: Is not very interested in other dogs and prefers spending time alone. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he currently lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Currently does only outdoor pottying since he resides at our center. * Walks: When he feels uncomfortable, he might get stubborn and stop walking, but most of the time, he follows his handler well. * Car Sickness: Travels well in the car without motion sickness. * Biting: Is usually very gentle, but may mouth a little bit if you try to touch him forcefully. Doesn’t show aggression. * Barking: Is quiet; doesn’t bark or whine. * Likes: Loves treats! Even when shy, treats help him open up and respond well to training. * Dislikes: Becomes cautious and uncomfortable with loud noises or when held forcefully.
