Story
Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 Web Site: www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation*** Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around WA & OR, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal due to their fees they charge the rescue but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. The oh so beautiful inside & out Manolo whose picture screamed the disgusting neglect he was in, in a death camp of a scary shelter in CA. He was posted looking so very defeated. Yes, it appears at the age of 5 he was going to die which is absolutely unacceptable & disgusting. We rescued this beautiful little lad & his friend Findi from the same home after no one was coming for them. The even sadder part about this is their owner claimed they were strays but it was quickly determined he was not telling the truth. They were going to lose their lives. That day was 1 very sad & joyous day all at the same time. Without his outstanding foster dad, this would not of happened for Manolo. Manolo who is now looking for his very own forever home & who will never give up on him again & dump him & love him just as his foster dad in CA did & we do. After we rescued Manolo he was bought back to WA state from CA where he can’t wait to find him his loving forever home. The absolute insanity to think this baby doll ended up in one of the highest kill shelters in CA is soul destroying. Manolo just wants to be loved. Disturbing to think no one wanted him & he was ready to die. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA kill shelters. When we first rescued him, he ate multiple bowls of food as if he is making up for lost time. Manolo is a very sweet gentle soul, he is so easy considering what he has endured. Manolo is a very sweet dog & loves his humans once he knows them. Lays with you & can't be happier being petted & touched. He also loves to be with his buddies & just lay with them or do whatever they are doing. We do know that Manolo & Findi are not bonded & he can stress her out. He loves everyone he meets after he knows them & enjoys being cuddled to & given love. He also enjoys snuggling up on the couch & will jump on the couch & spend his day relaxing. We cannot believe someone would be so cruel & neglectful to Manolo. Manolo’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for his safety. Manolo has been great with his baths because he started having them with us the moment he was rescued so he is used to them. He has also started getting used to being dried with a hairdryer. He will just let you dry him. Manolo rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & will sit in his car seat next to you with his dog friends. He also enjoys looking out the window. He still needs continued work walking on his harness & leash. We are looking for a forever home for Manolo where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lad only. He was left in a cage in the shelter until we rescued him. Manolo is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. Manolo has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & was fostered with other dogs in his foster home & does well with them & enjoys their company. We also have tested him in a daycare with other breeds of dogs & does well. Manolo is roughly 5 years old 12.6 lbs & is perhaps a pomeranian mix, what he is mixed with we are not sure at all. He is male, neutered by laser by our wonderful vets. Had a dental scale & polish along with dental x-rays. He had several teeth removed, 1 incisor, 1 canine, 2 premolars, 1 molar. He is microchipped, he had his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & being dewormed. Once these shots expire we only redo rabies as we do not over vaccinate our beloved dogs. Manolo is dealing with an allergy & lost parts of his fur but it’s growing back in. He is now on a clean diet of raw fruits, vegetables & supplements. He was given a kibble & believe it was due to that. Manolo has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had him around small children. But we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Manolo was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Manolo’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Manolo potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Manolo has been through many traumas in his short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Manolo & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Manolo who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this spirited little lad. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Manolo has an adoption fee of $995 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Yoonrang • Yoonrang was living at the Gimje City Shelter alongside #AdogsDoter. They were rescued by Adogs from a raised wire cage where their feet would sink through the gaps as they struggled to endure each day. • With People: She absolutely loves people and is full of charm—she’ll come to you first asking for pets! • With Dogs: She gets along well with other dogs at the center, but she’s a bit food possessive and doesn’t like being disturbed while eating. • Separation Anxiety: She currently shows no signs of separation anxiety, though she’s still living at the center. • Potty Training: She stays outdoors at the center, so her potty habits in a home environment are currently unknown. • Car Rides: She rides in the car without any signs of motion sickness.

Story
All About Me Name: Blanc Age: Approx. 10 years old Gender: Female Spayed: Yes Breed: Pomeranian Color: White Weight: 4.5kg / 9lbs Height (to shoulder): 40 cm   Hello everyone! My name is Blanc. I was born and raised in Pyeongtaek. Long story short, I have been through a lot. I ended up staying at the Pyeongtaek city shelter as an unclaimed dog, and once up on the list of euthanasia. A warm-hearted rescuer heard this news, and they decided to take me out of the city shelter to avoid euthanasia! Thanks to their beautiful soul, so I am here to find my forever family who would embrace my wound and scar.   My Health - Vaccination : Up to date (vaccinations for 2025 scheduled) - Patella luxation surgery : performed in 2024. August - Allergy : Any reaction has never been observed - Might show some cough during Spring/fall(seasonal)   My Personality I’m a calm and loving little lady who adores people. Whether you’re someone I’ve known forever or someone I just met, I’ll happily trot over and lean in for some affection. I don’t mind being picked up either in fact, I find comfort in being gently held close. If you lift me up with your arms under my belly, I’ll settle right in and enjoy the moment. Children? Oh, I’m quite fond of them. I’m gentle and patient, making me a great companion even for little ones under 13. My nature is steady and kind, and I always aim to make the people around me feel calm and loved.   Social Skills - With People: I love being near humans! I greet familiar friends and strangers alike with warmth and ease. - With Dogs: I’m more of a people-dog, but I’m very polite with other pups. I’ll say hello, especially if they’re around my size or smaller. If the dog is much bigger than me, I am a little scared! I don’t know if they are going to be friendly to me. but I usually prefer doing my own thing. I am not comfortable having other dogs around me when I am eating. Please keep me separated from them when I am enjoying my own meal - With Cats: I have lived with cats before. It was roughly 2 month, and I tend to yap at them! They are very interesting to me. When I see cats outside of my house, I am very cool. I would like to focus on people!   Life at Home I’m the perfect companion for a relaxed, loving household. I don’t bark much, preferring instead to take in the world calmly and quietly. I’m comfortable settling down in a kennel when needed and riding well in the car as long as I get to be in your arms, I feel safe. I use both indoor pads and go outside for potty time, so I’m flexible when it comes to routines. I like playing with nose work toys! Smelling and sniffing provide me happiness and it makes my brain busy.   On My Walks‍ I enjoy quiet walks and will generally follow your lead, though now and then I get curious and may tug just a little. The world has so many smells and sounds to explore! I walk at a peaceful pace and love being by your side as we take it all in together. I don’t really like big car noises. So I will need much patience to adjust myself in a busy city! I would love to learn this with you and hope you can show me the new world.   My Ideal Home Many people who get to know me say that I am a perfect dog! I am a kind, beautiful and gentle dog. I would love a peaceful home with someone who appreciates the quiet magic of a gentle companion. I’m not looking for adventure or chaos just a warm lap, kind hands, and someone to share each day with. If you’re looking for a sweet, serene presence to bring calm and love into your life, I may just be the perfect match. Let’s write the rest of our story together.   ##2409010##

Story
----- Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.
