Personality
Sutton is a handsome, fluffy little guy with a gentle personality and plenty of charm. He can be a bit shy for a few minutes, but once he feels safe, he blossoms with zoomies and shows his sweet, affectionate nature. His foster dad reports that Sutton warms up with patience and becomes a devoted little companion.
He has also been dog-tested with dogs from 10 lbs up to 75 lbs, both male and female, and he has been friendly and appropriate with everyone.
Like many Pomeranians, Sutton is bright, affectionate, and tends to form strong bonds with his people. He enjoys calm environments, soft attention, and being treated with kindness while he settles in.
Grooming Needs
Sutton has the signature Pomeranian double coat, which is irresistibly cuddly — but also requires routine brushing and professional grooming. This is essential to keep him comfortable and prevent painful matting. We’re looking for a family who can commit to his ongoing coat care.
Health & Care Notes
Sutton is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines. Like many small breed adults his age, he has dental tartar buildup and will need dental care with his new family’s veterinarian.
Sutton is ready for a quiet, understanding home where he can decompress, feel safe, and be adored like the little king he is.

Fur Ever Yours Animal Rescue is based in Okanogan County (Eastern Washington), where our dedicated first-line foster homes are located and where veterinary care is most accessible. Because we cross-list our dogs in multiple regions to help them find the perfect match, you may see this dog listed in several cities.
For Small Dogs (Under 20 lbs): Once an adoption application is fully approved, we provide volunteer-based transport to designated meeting spots in Ellensburg, Leavenworth, Wenatchee, Moses Lake, or Brewster for Western/Central WA families.
For Eastern WA, Montana, or Idaho Families: We host pre-arranged adoption meet-and-greets in Reardan or Spokane Valley.
Please Note: We do not transport dogs sight-unseen without an approved application and processed adoption fee.
ADOPTION FEES & MISSION:
Our adoption fees do not purchase an individual pet; rather, they act as a direct donation that funds our entire rescue ecosystem. Because we pull medical cases, seniors, and neglected animals from under-resourced rural areas, your adoption fee is pooled directly into our medical fund. This directly supports the rehabilitation, dental surgeries, and specialized care of every single dog currently resting under our roof.
