This beautiful girl is a lovable 1-2 year old pug with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This sweet girl is the perfect mix of playful energy and couch-snuggle champion. Isla loves to play, zoom around, and have fun with her people, but once playtime is over, shes happiest curled up beside you for cuddles. If youre looking for a built-in nap buddy and expert sleeping companion, Isla is your girl. Shes very food motivated (treats are definitely the way to her heart!) but has a gentle nature around food and is not protective of her meals or snacks. Isla thrives on affection, attention, and being close to her humans. Isla is also working on her potty training and doing well with consistency, patience, and encouragement. With guidance, regular trips outside, and lots of praise, shes well on her way and eager to keep learning with her future family. To help set her up for a happy, healthy future, Isla is getting spayed tomorrow with a soft palate surgery to improve her breathing and comfort. Shell be ready to join her forever family early next week! Meet Chewbacca! Lovingly known as Chewie, this handsome pug mix (we suspect Pekingese in there!) is the perfect mix of playful, cuddly, and goofy. Basically, everything you hope for in a young dog. We estimate him to be between 1-2 years old. Chewie came to us as an owner surrender when his family no longer had the time to give him the attention he needed. Since arriving, hes shown us what a fun little guy he is. Hes great with kids, loves meeting new people, and is eager to play with other dogs. This boy loves life. Whether hes zooming up and down the stairs, racing around the yard, exploring the house, or playing with his toys, Chewie is always ready for his next adventure. Like many young dogs, Chewie is still learning the ropes. Hell benefit from some basic training and consistent boundaries, but hes smart, eager to please, and very food-motivated. Hes continuing to work on potty training, is still getting comfortable with car rides, and is learning that walks on a leash can be fun. Chewie can be a little unsure when introduced to new things, so hes looking for an adopter who will be patient, encouraging, and willing to help him build confidence as he discovers the world around him. Say hello to Remy and that adorable little tongue! Its always peeking out because Remy has no teeth (more on that below), and it only adds to her charm. Remy is an adult pug who came to us as an owner surrender and is now looking for her forever home. Remy is affectionate, smart, and already knows her basic commands (and some fun ones!) Shes fully potty trained and loves nothing more than being close to her people. She also is great in a crate! A true velcro pug, Remy wants to be by your side and go everywhere with you. Shes an active girl who enjoys playtime and exercise, especially a good game of fetch. Remy enjoys hikes, sniffing around, and soaking up the sunshine. While she generally gets along with other dogs, she does show some resource guarding, so thoughtful introductions and guidance are important. She's also not a big fan of larger dogs, much like many small dogs. Shes been around cats and young kids and does fine. Remy would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time to provide the consistency, reassurance, and companionship she needs right now. All of Remys teeth were removed when she was young due to some malformations, so she eats softened kibble and absolutely loves her veggies. Bonus: no dental cleanings needed! She has no health issues other than the one that was resolved with the teeth pulling. Her previous family decided to rehome her after welcoming a baby and no longer having the time she deserves. Remy is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and shes currently being fostered in San Francisco. Shes ready to give her whole heart to a family who will cherish her forever.

If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who wants to be involved in every part of your day, Gerald is your guy. This happy, affectionate pug loves being with his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to see what you're up to. Lovingly called Jerry, this happy guy came to us from a CA Central Valley shelter. We estimate him to be around 3 years old, and he is playful, social, and always ready for an adventure. He enjoys walks, loves attention, and is quick to offer cuddles when it's time to relax. He's eager to please and has a wonderful, goofy personality that makes people fall for him fast. Like many rescue dogs, Jerry is still working on a few things. He's learning leash manners and gets more confident on walks every day. He's also making progress with potty training as he settles into a routine. He has a small undeveloped eye that does not hurt or need to be removed. Jerry would do best in a home where he can be the star of the show and soak up plenty of love and attention. He hasn't been tested with children yet, but everyone he's met so far has been greeted with enthusiasm, curiosity, and lots of affection. Hes friendly with cats, but like most dogs will want to chase them if they run. He recently got neutered, a dental cleaning, a microchip, and full vaccinations. Hes being fostered in Sacramento, CA. Please read before applying: Mouse has been diagnosed with bilateral luxating patellas; one is mild and one is severe enough to eventually require surgery when she's older and more fully grown (a year or so). Our veterinarian also believes she may have a mild form of hydrocephalus due to her stunted growth. She does not need treatment at this time and may never develop significant symptoms, but she will need lifelong monitoring for neurological changes. We will only be considering adopters without small children or large dogs due to her size and fragility. She will also need to be fed 3-4 times a day for the next few months and would do best with another young small dog to play and socialize with. Mouse came to us with two of her siblings; she was severely underweight at 1/3rd the size of them. She didn't put on any weight for weeks, and when she did it was incremental. She's a total spitfire, and we think it's to make up for her tiny body. She has a big personality, loves untying your shoes, running around screaming after other dogs, curling up in your arms, snuggling with other dogs, and making everyone around her laugh. Adopters are required to sign a spay contract.

This adorable little pug is equal parts playful goofball and cuddle bug. Around 2 years old, Wesley came to us from a Central Valley shelter after being found as a stray, and hes quickly proven himself to be a happy, loving boy whos ready for a forever family of his own. Wesley loves other dogs and gets along great with pups of all sizes. His favorite pastime? Catching the zoomies and racing around the yard playing tag with his dog friends. Once playtime is over, though, hes all about snuggles and will happily curl up next to his human for a full night of cozy sleep. Like the true pug he is, Wesley believes personal space is overrated. Hell be your little shadow throughout the day: under your feet in the kitchen, beside you on the couch, or planted directly in your lap no matter what youre doing. He does get a little dramatic if you leave the room and may whine for a few minutes, but he settles down quickly once he realizes youre coming back. Wesley still has that fun young-dog energy and can occasionally get a little mouthy during play, so his future family will need to continue helping him learn good manners. Hes smart, eager, and extremely food motivated, which makes training much easier. Hes already learned how to use the dog door and is making great progress with potty training, though hell still need consistency in his new home. Meal times are very serious business to Wesley. Hes convinced all food belongs to him and will absolutely attempt to sample another dogs dinner if given the opportunity. Typical pug behavior! Wesley has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested. His dream home would be one where he gets to go on adventures, spend plenty of time with his people, and have other playful dogs around to romp with.
