All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. Introducing TJ! 🩷 TJ is a 1-year-old Pug/Small Terrier mix with the cutest personality! She’s funny, goofy, and full of life, and she’s always ready to run, play, and have some fun. This girl has plenty of energy for adventures, but once playtime is over, she’s more than happy to settle in for some snuggles. 🥰 TJ is a social little sweetheart who does great with kids, cats, and other dogs. She’s currently working on crate training and house training and is doing really well with both! She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a forever family who will love her silly personality just as much as we do. ❤️

Where are the snacks and cuddles?”  She has been to the vet and thankfully no health issues were found. Her spay surgery is already scheduled, so she’s checking all the boxes for her happily-ever-after! A Note About Leptospirosis Vaccines for Dogs We start dogs and puppies on the leptospirosis vaccine when age appropriate. Because some dogs are adopted before the booster is due, the full lepto series may not be completed before adoption. Your adoption counselor will review your dog's vaccine record with you and let you know whether a booster is still needed with your veterinarian. After Adoption Veterinary Care We recommend setting up an appointment with your veterinarian shortly after adoption. This helps your new pet establish care, allows your veterinarian to review their medical and vaccine history, and ensures they stay on track for any boosters or follow up care they may need. Flea and tick prevention, as well as heart worm prevention for dogs, are typically prescription products. Your veterinarian can help choose the safest and most appropriate preventatives for your pet based on their age, weight, medical history, and lifestyle. Khaleesi (Kali)'s Story Khaleesi (Kali) is a fun girl that brings lots of laughs. She has a big personality and sings every morning at breakfast time. "Wooo wooo wooo" She is working on her leash skills and training hard. She is medium to low energy depending on the temperature lol over 75 she prefers hanging out inside in the ac watching your favorite show or movie with you on the sofa or playing with her toys. We will continue to learn more about her as she continues to decompress and settle into her foster home. Unfortunately, no cats and no small animals for this girl. HandsomeDansRescue.org
