Story
Welcome Johnny to CCPAL Rescue. Johnny is a 10-week-old Pug mix puppy. He is a beautiful tan color with a black muzzle. He has an underbite and a shortened nose. He is a bigger-sized boy pup in the liter. He should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. He is a laid-back boy and was easy to take photos with. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Johnny is one of two boys in the litter. He was the last puppy to come out of his kennel as he was enjoying his nap. He was very workable and stood stil and sat willingly on the table for the photo shoot. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever homes. We would prefer pug people for these pups, as they know the breed best. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever homes soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Johnny is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1869 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

Story
Hey there! I’m Pickles, the one and only, super adorable Pug who just turned the big ONE! I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find my forever family!    I’m the textbook definition of a goofball! I’m crate trained and I strut my stuff like a champ on a leash. But let me tell you, the excitement of going outside can turn me into a zooming rocket! Zoomies are my thing!    I’m a friend to all - kids? Love ’em! Other dogs? Totally cool! Haven't had the pleasure of meeting any kitties yet, but I’m pretty sure we could be pals! My ideal situation? Being near my humans because I like to stick close and soak up all the love. So, I’d love it if my new family who can bring me to work, or works primarily from home!    I can hardly wait to be snatched up by an incredible new family who will love me as much as I love them!  ##2705661##

Story
🐾 Meet Snoopy & Koda 🐾 💛 Looking for Their Forever Home 💛 A couple of months ago, we were made aware of two dogs in urgent need of rehoming. At first, we were not sure we had the capacity to help—but after meeting them, it was clear they needed immediate care, safety, and a second chance. With the help of an incredibly compassionate foster mom and a generous donor, Snoopy and Koda received full veterinary care and have been learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and part of a home. ✨ Now they’re ready for their forever family! ✨ 🐶 Koda
Koda is an approximately 2-year-old female pug—and she is everything you love about pugs. She’s petite, playful, and incredibly sweet. She comes with:
• A tiny tongue that peeks out when she sleeps
• The cutest little “vampire” underbite
• A squishy muffin head that’s impossible not to kiss She’s full of personality and love, and she will absolutely steal your heart. 🐶 Snoopy
Snoopy is an approximately 5-year-old dachshund mix—affectionately described as a “little land seal” 🖤 • Short, chunky legs
• Big soulful eyes
• Much smaller than he appears in photos Don’t let his pictures fool you—he’s actually very petite and loves being close to his people. 💛 Their Personalities
• Both dogs are incredibly sweet and affectionate
• Great with people and children
• House-trained and adjusting well to home life
• Learning how to play, relax, and just be dogs 🚫Snoopy is believed to not be suitable for homes with other pets aside from his friend Koda. Koda is believed to be good with cats and other dogs. 🏡 Adoption Details:
Ideally, we would love for Snoopy and Koda to be adopted together—they share a strong bond and came from the same situation. However, we understand that may not be realistic, and we are open to applications for one or both. Both Snoopy and Koda are up to date on vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered/microchipped. We are committed to finding the absolute best homes for them. 📋 Adoption Requirements • Completed application • Personal and veterinary references • Proof of home ownership or landlord approval (verbal & written) • Meet & greet Home visit 📩 Interested in adopting? Please email: sdbpctrescue@gmail.com An application will be sent to you.
