Meet Toby! This adorable 1-year-old Pug mix has a one-of-a-kind look and a smile that will steal your heart! Toby is as sweet as he is funny, and his lovable personality makes him impossible not to adore. He’s ready to find a family who will love him for all the silly, special things that make him Toby. Come meet this little character at Kent Animal Shelter and let his smile brighten your day!

Welcome Johnny to CCPAL Rescue. Johnny is a 7-month-old Pug mixed pup. He is a beautiful tan color with a black muzzle. He has an underbite and a shortened nose. He is a bigger-sized boy pup in the liter. He weighs about 15 pounds now and will be a small dog full grown. He has an adorable underbite and is great with other dogs. He is active but not over the top. He has the curly tail like the traditional pug but maybe the curl is less tight. He is a laid-back boy and was easy to take photos with. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Johnny is one of two boys in the litter. He was the last puppy to come out of his kennel as he was enjoying his nap. He was very workable and stood still and sat willingly on the table for the photo shoot. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. Johnny is social and would be a great dog to take to the local coffee shop. He loves all people and is call in loud situations. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Johnny is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1869 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

Some little ladies walk into a room with elegance and grace. Penny Pugly Wugly prefers to arrive with a few adorable snorts, a wiggle in her step, and a face so ridiculously cute that you can't help but smile. She's a tiny entertainer with a big personality, and she doesn't even have to try to be funny. Being Penny is entertainment enough! Watch Penny Pugly Wugly in action! Penny is a delightful little sweetheart who finds joy in the simplest things. Sometimes that means chasing her own tail as if she's just discovered the world's greatest mystery. Other times, it's showing off her precious little pug face, complete with those irresistible expressions and signature snorts. She's full of those silly little moments that make having a dog so much fun. Life with Penny comes with plenty of smiles and a daily dose of adorable nonsense. And don't let her goofy side fool you. Penny is also a polite little lady who knows when to mind her manners! She's dog friendly, kid friendly, and even knows how to respectfully coexist with cats. Although, if you ask Penny, cats are rather suspicious creatures best admired from a very safe distance. During her time around the resident house cat, Penny made it perfectly clear that she had no interest in starting trouble. In fact, she preferred to avoid the cat altogether! There was no aggression, just a healthy respect for personal space and a little bit of uncertainty about what exactly that mysterious feline was up to. Penny's sweet nature and silly personality make her an absolutely lovely companion. She's the kind of dog who can turn an ordinary afternoon into something memorable simply by being herself. Whether she's spinning around after her tail, making her funny little noises, or looking up at you with that precious face, she has a special talent for making people happy. If your home could use a little extra laughter, a whole lot of cuteness, and a pint-sized sweetheart with impeccable cat-avoidance skills, Penny Pugly Wugly would love to meet you. She's ready to bring her snorts, wiggles, and lovable little antics into a home of her very own. Apply to adopt Penny Pugly Wugly: [Insert Animals First profile link] Questions? Meet Plankton Pete The Sea Chug! Plankton is a 2-month-old Pug and Chihuahua mix, a Chug, who is sweet, affectionate, and lively, with all of that classic Pug energy. He’s a little bundle of personality who loves life, his toys, and his people, and he’s as playful as he is cuddly. Plankton lives with his sister, Jellyfish, and the two play well together, sometimes rough-and-tumble style. He’s being well socialized with his foster siblings, and he lives in a house with cats. He loves his toys, and he’s always ready for the next game, whether that’s a chase, a tug, or a good pounce. After all that excitement, Plankton is just as happy to settle in for some snuggle time. He loves to be held and to relax after a round of playtime, melting into your arms like the sweet little guy he is. Plankton would do best with dogs who can keep up with him, or with an active family who will match his energy with plenty of play. His Pug and Chihuahua mix suggests he’ll stay lively as he grows, so regular exercise, play, and gentle training are recommended. Plankton is looking for a family with plenty of love, room to play, and a lap for snuggles. Could that be you?
