Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.June 17, 2025, 6:41 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $400 plus taxRequires another confident dog No children under 12 Hi my name is Zach I came from a hoarder/breeder situation. I ’m a little shy meeting people but if you bribe me with treats I warm up in time.  On my walks I shy away from people so it takes me time to get used to strangers. I didn’t get any pets till I came to my foster home. My foster mom showed me how wonderful it is to be petted and curl up beside her when she’s watching tv or reading. If she’s petting my foster sister I nudge my way in cause I want my share. I like the walks my foster dad takes me on and have learned to walk pretty good on a leash. I like to play with toys occasionally. I love the fenced in yard and like to run and play with my foster sister. I’m a sweet and loving boy looking for my furever home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. //

Story
Meet Roberto (aka Bob) – A Wonderful Little Companion!    Roberto—affectionately known as Bob—is a 5-year-old pug mix who came to us from Mexico and is ready to charm his way into your heart. He’s about the size of a cat, and his personality is all heart.   Bob is a mellow little guy with low to medium energy who can keep up on walks, long and short.  He walks well on a leash and is a dream travel buddy, especially if he gets to ride on your lap in the car. He’s quiet by nature and only barks in response to the resident dogs.    This sweet boy is wonderful with everyone—kids, adults, cats, and other dogs. He’s the kind of pup who just wants to be near you, soaking up the love. His favorite place is right next to his person, where he can snuggle up and feel safe.   Bob’s only quirk? He’s a marker, so he may need a male wrap long-term or some patient guidance in a new environment. But honestly, with all the love and companionship he brings, it’s a small price to pay.   His foster family adores him and would keep him if they didn’t already have two other dogs and a big heart for continuing to foster. That’s how special Bob is.   If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly, easygoing companion who’s already a pro at being part of the pack, Bob might just be your perfect match.   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $425.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 18, 2025, 4:26 pm

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Simon - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Meet Simon – Your New Adventure Buddy & Cuddle Companion! 🐾 Looking for a pup who’s equal parts playful explorer and professional snuggler? Meet Simon, a 1-year-old Pug/Boston Terrier mix with a heart full of joy and 16 pounds of pure love. Simon is always ready for action — whether it's exploring the backyard, going for a walk, or bouncing around with his dog friends. But don’t let his energetic side fool you — when the adventure winds down, he turns into a total lap pup, happiest curled up beside you for snuggles and snoozes like it's his full time job! Simon is the definition of a “shadow dog” — he loves being close to his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. Never worry about going to that 'scary' bathroom alone again!! He’s a curious little explorer when out and about, but at home, he’s a true lil disciple following you, his 'God' of all things good, wherever you are going. He’s crate trained, gets along great with other dogs, loves meeting new people, and would do best with older kids who can match his go-go-go energy. Simon’s ideal home is with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle but also appreciates a good cuddle session. This sweet, happy, and adorably squishy boy is ready to bring joy, laughter, and love to his forever home. Are you the one he’s been waiting for? Adopt Simon – and let the adventures begin! If you think that Simon would be a perfect match for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out his adoption application right away!! You can find it at haydudeequine.org

Story
Hello my name is Rascal, I'm from Minnesota! From his foster: Rascal is a wonderful companion and a lot of fun. He LOVES to be INCLUDED, which means getting along well with other dogs, being friendly to people, and generally wanting to hang out with you as much as possible. Very friendly guy, swell fella to have around the house. Enjoys playing with his toys, not really into fetch, just likes to hang out with his squeaky pig, squeaking it. He does well in a crate, is house-trained, and is comfortable on a leash. He's a bit of a barker when he sees something exciting out the window but we're working on that. We haven't seen him with young kids or cats but can't imagine it would be a problem. Just a great dog!

Story
Oh, hi! My full name is Hot Cocoa, but you can call me your new best friend if you’d like! I’m a curious, friendly pup who just wants to love everyone. I’m looking for a family that I can call my own, and I’m hoping that I find them soon! My perfect day would involve lots of exploring and playing, mixed with snuggles and naps! Here are some other things I’d like you to know.I love toys, especially the ones I can chew on.Exploring outside is my favorite thing!I have so much love to give, and I'm ready to be the sidekick on your next adventure!I would be so happy if you came to visit me in person, so then we could see that we’re the perfect match. I know that we could make many great memories together. I will be patiently waiting to meet you!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $500To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
