Meet Ringo: The Goofy Gentleman from Tijuana with a Heart of Gold Born around December 21, 2022, Ringo made the journey from Tijuana, Mexico to find his forever home—and he’s brought a whole lot of love (and zoomies) with him. This active, affectionate pup treats every walk like an adventure and every treat like buried treasure. He hasn’t quite mastered toys yet but throw a ball and he’ll chase it like it’s on his personal most-wanted list. Ringo is food motivated—he’d probably learn to do your taxes if you paid him in cheese. His leash manners and housetraining are still works in progress, especially when adjusting to a new space, but with consistency and patience, he quickly learns the ropes and settles in like a true gentleman. He’s working on crate training and does well when he thinks he’s flying solo—he’s still learning that crates can be cozy, not lonely. Ringo adores kids, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and greets every human like a long-lost friend. He’s a dream in the car, a snuggle pro on the couch, and would thrive as a social butterfly at the dog park. Curious about cats, Ringo sometimes gets a little too interested in their mysterious ways, but he’s easily redirected and learns quickly what’s off-limits. He successfully lives with 3 cats in his foster home. He also takes his role as neighborhood watch very seriously and may bark at unfamiliar sights or sounds, so he’d do best in a home without shared walls. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly sidekick who is equal parts energy and affection, Ringo is ready to move in and steal your heart (and maybe your sandwich). Henry LOVES people and is so enthusiastic about greeting everyone he meets. He’s a happy guy with a big heart and a joyful spirit. Henry came to us after fathering his last litter (don’t worry—mama and babies are safe with us and doing great, and Henry is now scheduled to be neutered so his puppy-making days are officially behind him!). Paloma! Paloma is a petite dark brindle female pug, approximately 1-1.5 years old. She was surrendered just before Christmas, after her original owner died suddenly. She is very friendly, happy, and BUSY! Like all pugs, she loves everyone & everything 2- and 4-legged, of all ages & sizes. She is a parkour expert, but give her enough to occupy her on the ground & she is less prone to jump/climb & explore. A little bit of a diva, if she doesn’t get what she wants, when she wants it (particularly her meal or to be let out of her crate when she has finished eating), she will serenade you with pug screams, the song of her people! Housebreaking was an unknown entity to Paloma before she came into foster, so it is a work in progress. This little girl will steal your heart with her toothy grin & welcoming full body wriggles. Derek the devious 🤣 Meet Derek, a young adult male (approximately 1.5 years old) fawn pug. He has 2 resting faces: pouty or laughing. He is very loving, dog, cat, & all ages/sizes of humans friendly- true to his breed. Derek does not let architectural boundaries come between him & what he desires, be it the kitty kibble that was (🙄safely) secured behind three separate 3-4 ft baby gates, or the recycling that had been sitting on the far recessed of the kitchen countertop. He uses amazing “sproing” & scramble abilities to reach his desired destination. Housebreaking is a work in progress, having been introduced to him when he was trapped & taken in as a stray right before Christmas. Pugs can be notoriously stubborn, but they do desire to please, so he is about 75% of the way there. Do you have room for this sweet, spunky guy in your home & life? Lots of love & laughter follow wherever he goes 💕 He is available for adoption through God’s Dogs Rescue. Hurry! He won’t last! My name is Skylar, and I’m a very happy girl who is going to be a big one!
