Meet Ringo: The Goofy Gentleman from Tijuana with a Heart of Gold Born around December 21, 2022, Ringo made the journey from Tijuana, Mexico to find his forever home—and he’s brought a whole lot of love (and zoomies) with him. This active, affectionate pup treats every walk like an adventure and every treat like buried treasure. He hasn’t quite mastered toys yet but throw a ball and he’ll chase it like it’s on his personal most-wanted list. Ringo is food motivated—he’d probably learn to do your taxes if you paid him in cheese. His leash manners and housetraining are still works in progress, especially when adjusting to a new space, but with consistency and patience, he quickly learns the ropes and settles in like a true gentleman. He’s working on crate training and does well when he thinks he’s flying solo—he’s still learning that crates can be cozy, not lonely. Ringo adores kids, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and greets every human like a long-lost friend. He’s a dream in the car, a snuggle pro on the couch, and would thrive as a social butterfly at the dog park. Curious about cats, Ringo sometimes gets a little too interested in their mysterious ways, but he’s easily redirected and learns quickly what’s off-limits. He successfully lives with 3 cats in his foster home. He also takes his role as neighborhood watch very seriously and may bark at unfamiliar sights or sounds, so he’d do best in a home without shared walls. She is looking for an active mixed breed dog experienced family with a securely fenced yard. She will do best with another dog companion or an active family. She likes dogs his size, dog beds, laps, bones (to chew on), couches and toys. She will do best in an active home with children over 10 years of age. She is crate trained, loves car rides, walks and dog training. Not sure on exact adult size, but guessing no larger than a medium sized dog as parents are 25 lbs. No apartments please. Calling all cozy-home + long-walk people: Ren is ready to meet you. Ren is a 3-year-old Pug/Boxer mix who is equal parts sweet and silly. He’s still settling into life outside of breeding, so he can be shy at first—especially with loud noises, quick movements, being picked up, or unfamiliar men. But when he decides you’re safe? Game over. Ren becomes a champion snuggler and a world-class lovebug. His favorite things include: Long walks and little adventures Climbing snow hills like a tiny mountaineer Playing with his foster sibling Toys + Benebones + quality couch time He’s got “bunny mode,” and it activates the second he gets excited. Ren is great with other dogs and cats. He’s also house-trained, though he’s still figuring out how to let you know he needs to go out. Ren does have some separation anxiety, so he’s looking for a calm, consistent home that can help him feel secure. With patience, routine, and a steady human, Ren is going to bloom into the best buddy you’ve ever had. Coco is an am bully/bulldog mix that is so sweet we had to put an XO behind her name! Not only sweet, Coco XO is playful, snuggly and full of joy. This absolutely gorgeous short stack is 2 years old and weighs 52lbs. If you could order her at Starbuck's, she'd be the Caramel Brulée Frappuccino with an extra shot of espresso! She's up for anything, anytime making her excellent ride or die sidekick material. Her favorite things are toys, playing fetch and snuggling with a person. She had 4 puppies in her previous life and was a great mom to them. She was separated from them when they entered the shelter, which was hard for her. Coco is good with dogs she knows, but in the shelter, was quite sassy to those she didn't. Because of this, for the time being she's looking to be in an only dog household. This may change as we get to know her more; since leaving the shelter, she is behaving very nicely and has been non-reactive to other dogs. Coco XO is located in NE Minneapolis, MN. Visit our FAQ page to learn why. Meet Kirby!This wonderful, friendly 5-month-old pup is looking for his forever home.Kirby loves playing with other dogs and would be happiest with a canine companion. He also enjoys adventures and makes a great travel buddy. Walks? He has a bit of a love/hate relationship with them&#194&#151he won't be too disappointed if he skips one, but he still needs exercise. What he does love is spending time outside!Kirby is fully deaf and has experienced two seizures, most likely related to his deafness. He now takes an inexpensive medication three times a day and has had no further issues. The seizures may be temporary, or they could continue as he grows&#194&#151it's just too soon to tell. What's most important is that his forever family can provide a supportive environment for his deafness (using hand signals and plenty of patience!) while also keeping an eye on his health.This smart boy is already picking things up quickly! He knows how to sit&#194&#151especially for food&#194&#151and has learned signs for 'let's go/come,' 'food,' 'outside,' 'stay,' and 'potty.' While walks aren't his favorite, he's making steady progress with leash training and does well when he sees other dogs or people&#194&#151curious but calm.Kirby is also learning crate training. During the day, he does well and will happily go inside, though he may bark when he's ready to come out. At night, he still prefers to snuggle with the pack, especially now that he's more potty trained. Speaking of which&#194&#151he's doing great with house training! He occasionally has an accident but has even started going to the door when he needs to go outside.Something Kirby absolutely loves? Snuggles! He's happiest when curled up with his humans, playing with doggy friends, chewing sticks in the yard, or simply being close by. Because he's deaf, a fenced yard will be important for his safety while exploring outside.Kirby's perfect match will be someone who loves snuggles as much as he does and is also committed to ongoing training. This pint-sized boy previously suffered a hip injury, which has healed beautifully, and his happy, playful spirit never missed a beat. Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of contagious joy. He loves attention, enjoys romping around with his toys, and is always ready for a cuddle when playtime winds down. He does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with canine friends. Ian also loves his food and is happily not picky. He eats from a slow-feeder bowl to help him enjoy his meals at a healthy pace and aid digestion. Medical Transparency (the important but reassuring part): Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, which is not the same as diabetes mellitus. This condition affects how his body concentrates urine and has nothing to do with blood sugar. • Oral medication only — no shots or injections • Takes medication twice daily to maintain healthy urine concentration and support full bladder emptying • Medication may be lifelong or temporary, depending on future veterinary guidance • Medication cost can vary depending on the veterinarian or pharmacy • Needs frequent potty breaks Ian does wonderfully on his routine and is otherwise a happy, active, affectionate young dog.
