He was found darting through traffic, terrified and confused, when a good Samaritan stopped just in time and scooped him up. He was only 10 pounds then — skin and bones, just a baby — and no one even knew his age. Now he’s safe in a foster home, finally getting the care, food, and comfort he’s been missing. He’s still very much a puppy, full of sweetness and curiosity, and he’s learning what it means to be loved. But he needed out! He was only 10 lbs, just a baby, we didn't even know his age. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
