Story
Pete is looking for a loving foster home where they can rest and recover while receiving medical treatment. Reason for Foster: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) Foster Time Frame: Approximately 1 week(The foster timeframe may vary depending on recovery and any follow-up medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Pete is being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. While recovering, they may have symptoms such as sneezing, congestion, and nasal/eye discharge. Because URI can be contagious to other dogs, we recommend keeping them separated from resident dogs until they have fully recovered. They will go home with medication and all the supplies needed for their care. Once treatment is complete, they will return to Operation Kindness for their spay/neuter surgery and adoption. How to take this pet home: Adopt: Pete is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which allows prospective adopters to take pets home before they are available for adoption. Visit Operation Kindness and speak with our Client Services team. Foster-to-Adopt placements are first-come, first-served. Foster: Interested in fostering this pet? Email foster@operationkindness.org.

Story
Hi! I’m Beignet, but my friends call me Benny. 🐾 I’m around 3 years old, about 25â€Â㦊 pounds, and basically the perfect mix of playful, sweet, and easygoing. I had a rough start after being hit by a car around Christmas 2025, but thanks to lots of care, rest, and love, I’ve made a full recovery and am back to doing all the normal dog things I love most. Running? Yep. Playing? Absolutely. Jumping around and having fun? You bet. These days, I’m living my best life and soaking up every adventure I can. I LOVE walks, enjoy playing with toys, and fit in seamlessly with other dogs. I’m a friendly, social guy who greets new people with a sweet and gentle demeanor, and my foster says I’ve been an easy houseguest with zero accidents in the home. I’m also a pretty silly little dude. Sometimes I get so excited I accidentally grab a sock or shoe while looking for a toy, but I promise I mean well. I just love being involved in whatever my people are doing. After everything I’ve been through, I’m more than ready for a forever family to call my own. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with just the right amount of goofy charm, I’d love to meet you. ❤ï¸Â One important note: I would do best in a cat-free home. I’ve met a cat before and decided they’re just not really my thing. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. You can view all adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallaspetsalive.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/ . Story
4-month-old Inka is a playful, curious black-and-white pug mix puppy with endless love and energy to share. She adores tug-of-war, collecting toys, and staying involved in whatever her people are doing. Inka is affectionate, active, and always ready for fun, but she’s equally happy curling up on her dog bed after a busy day. She is crate trained, learning house-training, and already lets you know when she needs to go outside. Inka is doing well on leash training and gets along great with other dogs. She would thrive in an active home ready to keep up with puppy adventures and continue her training. If she’s an only dog, she’d love a family committed to plenty of playtime and attention. Inka is ready to bounce, cuddle, and wiggle her way right into your heart! ******* All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption.
