While Ally enjoys exploring the world, she does best in calmer environments. A busy beach, for example, would be too overwhelming for her right now. She is much more comfortable taking things at her own pace. Now that her puppy has found a forever home, Ally has been adjusting surprisingly well. She is settling into her environment, becoming more comfortable, and showing just how sweet and affectionate she can be. Bean is a wonderful 7 year-old, 17 lb terrier mix. Bean is a classic terrier, with a big personality in a little body! He is energetic and loves hiking, playing with toys, and is very smart. At the end of the day, Bean loves cuddling and making blanket forts. Bean is an intelligent guy. He knows all basic commands, and even knows how to dance on command. He is food motivated, crate trained, potty trained, and learns new things quickly. Even though Bean has plenty of energy, he is pretty low maintenance and does well around an hour of exercise per day. Bean also does well left alone at home. Bean does well with other dogs out and about, but wants to be the king of the castle in the home. He has been indifferent around cats. Bean would do best in a home without children under 12 years old.
