Story
If you’re looking for a mutt that is straight to the point and never strays from her objective, Dilly Dally may not be right for you – she thinks the journey is more important than the destination and often takes an (admittedly fun) detour! Miss Dilly Dally is the eldest of three siblings, and the other two have followed her to Muttville – you’re not seeing double (or triple!), there are, in fact, three beautiful brown and white darlings traipsing through HQ. This sweet senior has been an excellent big sister, but it’s tuckered her out – she now takes life at a more sedate pace. She would love to find a forever home where she can flourish in her golden years – do you have space to Dilly Dally? Here's some notes from her foster: Dilly Dally is very food oriented. She loves meal time and any snacks you may have to offer her! She absolutely loves to cuddling and be close to you, either by your side or in your lap.

Story
Meet Muppet, a senior sweetheart with a name as cute as her soul! With her tiny, permanent head tilt, she looks like she’s always listening for compliments (and she deserves all of them). Muppet is a professional cuddler, a lover of dogs big and small, and a firm believer that every day is the best day ever. She greets life with joy, kindness, and a gentle wag, spreading happiness wherever she goes. Whether she’s snuggled up beside you or making new furry friends, Muppet’s heart is always wide open. Calm, loving, and endlessly charming, this perfect little angel is ready to spend her golden years giving unconditional love to her forever family! Here's some notes from her foster: For her potty routine she usually needs to go every 2–3 hours when she wakes up. I follow a simple rule: if she’s awake, we head downstairs for a quick walk. She snoozes most of the day but in the afternoon/evening she perks up and loves hanging out with us, following us around. She adores humans — gently greets everyone, happily accepts pets, and is just so sweet. Handling her is super easy. She does prefer her space, but if she’s extra shivery I’ll pop her in a sling and keep her close. Overall, she is truly a beautiful soul. She’s already warmed my heart, and anyone who ends up with her will be incredibly lucky

Story
Weight ~ 23 lbsPoppy recently spent two weeks in a dog-savvy foster home. They had much to say about her, but here is a quite summary: `Poppy is a bright, spirited, and incredibly charming girl with a playful personality and a quick, intelligent mind. She keeps things fun with her curiosity and sense of humor, and once she feels safe, her affectionate side really shines. Poppy forms strong bonds and enjoys being close to her person—on her own comfortable terms. She thrives with routine, structure, and mental enrichment, and she loves activities like structured play, sniffy walks, and learning new cues. Poppy does best in a calm, predictable home with an experienced adopter who understands sensitive dogs and uses patient, positive reinforcement. Busy environments can be overwhelming for her, and she benefits from clear boundaries and managed exposure to new situations.Poppy would be happiest in an adult-only home, ideally as an only dog, or with very careful introductions. With the right guidance and a low-stress lifestyle, she is a loyal, entertaining, and deeply rewarding companion.`If you are ready to experience the `successful project-dog` high, come meet Poppy, or call us to coordinate a meet and greet. We`re open Tue-Sun 11-5.

Neptune is a Schnauzer Terrier mix puppy born in rescue on 10/22/25. He is currently 13 weeks old and is expected to stay under 20 lbs when fully grown. Neptune is the last remaining planet from Sol’s Solar System litter and is ready to find his forever home. He has been raised in a busy, loving foster environment with dogs, cats, adults, and kids, which shows in his calm confidence and gentle nature. While he absolutely has playful puppy moments, he leans toward being affectionate, people focused, and easy to live with. Think cuddles first, zoomies second. CompatibilityDogs: YesCats: YesKids: Yes Neptune Neptune is the soulful one. He has deep, expressive eyes and two perfectly symmetrical spots on his back that look like little wings. From the start, Neptune has been thoughtful and observant. He studies people closely, makes eye contact, and seems genuinely interested in connection. He is a calm, loving puppy who thrives on affection. Neptune enjoys playtime and has puppy spurts of energy, especially when toys come out, but he is just as happy settling in for cuddles or quietly hanging out nearby. He has a gentle confidence and a forgiving, easygoing nature that makes him a wonderful companion. Neptune is the kind of puppy who bonds deeply and makes you feel chosen. What He's Like Day to Day Neptune is well socialized and comfortable with everyday household life. He enjoys playtime, toys, and exploration, followed by long naps and cuddle sessions. He has medium puppy energy and is not nonstop go go go. He is affectionate without being demanding and playful without being overwhelming. He is still a puppy and will need continued training and guidance, but his temperament suggests he will grow into a gentle, loyal, easygoing adult dog. About Mom: Sol Sol is the calm center of this entire universe. She came into rescue already pregnant and handled motherhood with patience, structure, and zero drama. She is about 15 lbs, scruffy, sweet, and quietly hilarious. Sol raised six puppies confidently and lovingly, then gracefully stepped back once they were ready. Because of her, Neptune and Mars are secure, social, and thriving. Sol has already found her forever home. She was that amazing! If you’re looking for a puppy who is loving, gentle, and emotionally tuned in, with just enough puppy sparkle to keep life fun, Neptune may be the missing planet in your universe.January 27, 2026, 2:04 pm
