Story
BREED-Rat Terrier Mix; SEX-Male; SIZE-Small; WEIGHT-13 lbs.; AGE-Approximately 4 Years; SPAY/NEUTER-Yes; HOUSETRAINED-Currently Uses Doggie Door; GOOD WITH KIDS-Yes; GOOD WITH DOGS-Yes; GOOD WITH CATS-Unknown; HISTORY-Rescued From A Local Shelter; ADOPTION FEE-$250   Gus is truly one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. He has a calm, easygoing nature, and his idea of a perfect day is simply being close to his person—curled up in your lap or resting quietly by your side. Gus greets everyone with joy and genuine happiness, and his gentle presence has a way of making you feel instantly loved. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and warmly welcomes new fosters into his home with a kind and patient spirit. Gus does have an autoimmune condition that causes some crusting around his eyes and the sides of his mouth. This means he will need a little extra daily care, including gently cleaning his eyes and mouth with a warm cloth, as well as taking daily medication. The medication is quite manageable, with an average monthly cost of about $20. With this simple routine, Gus remains comfortable and continues to thrive. If you’re looking for a truly special dog—one who will return your love with endless affection and quiet companionship—Gus may be the perfect match for you.March 7, 2026, 2:41 pm

Story
Why you will love him... The Athlete: Ciabatta has plenty of energy and loves to run. Whether it’s a long walk, a jog, or just zooming around a big backyard, he is always up for an adventure. The Snuggle Bug: Once his energy is out, he’s a total softie. He is a world-class cuddler who loves to lean in for pets and snooze right next to his favorite humans on the couch. Great with Kids: Ciabatta is a sweetheart with children. He is patient, gentle, and thrives on the love and attention of a family. Ciabatta is a 10 year old Rat Terrier Mix looking for a new home due to no fault of his own. He had a run in with a wire fence that got wrapped around his nose  earlier in life and has left a small scar. He is sweet as they come. He just wants to sit in your LAP and cuddle. Story
This adorable little girl is just over a year old and weighs about 12.5 pounds. She’s fully vetted, heartworm negative, microchipped, and making great progress with her potty training. Her adoption fee is only $25! She came from a hoarding situation where dogs were kept in crates in a small apartment, so crates aren’t her favorite place to be. But, it sometimes can be her safety place. Understandably, she’s still a bit nervous and learning to trust. Sometimes she’s too scared to be caught, but with patience, gentleness, and time, she’ll come around and show her true loving nature. Because of her background, she’s not a good fit for apartment living—she’ll need a secure backyard where she can safely explore and feel comfortable. She does best with dogs her size or larger, and would thrive in a calm, understanding home that’s willing to let her open up at her own pace. She’s not an “instant dog”—she’ll need time to trust and adjust—but once she feels safe, she’ll reward you with a lifetime of love and loyalty. Could you be the one to give this sweet girl the safe, loving home she deserves? Complete your application today at https://chloespetrescue.org/application

Story
Nick is a 1-year-old neutered male Jack Russell Terrier with a striking brown and white coat and an affectionate, fun-loving personality. This guy is a total love bug who thrives on attention and will happily soak up all the pets and cuddles you’re willing to give.Treats are definitely his love language, making him a great candidate for continued training and bonding time. He’s still learning the leash, so he would do best in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can run, explore, and enjoy the outdoors while building confidence.Nick enjoys spending time outside and will quickly become your little shadow—wherever you go, he’s sure to follow. He can be selective with other dogs, so a meet and greet is required to ensure a good fit with any potential canine companions. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate pup who will stick by your side through it all, Nick Wilde is ready to be your new best friend!

Story
Judy is a 1-year-old spayed female Jack Russell Terrier mix with a beautiful white and brown coat and an adorable personality to match. She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and patience, and she’ll quickly blossom into a total love bug who just wants to be by your side. This sweet girl is still learning the ropes when it comes to walking on a leash, so she would do best in a home with a fenced-in backyard where she can safely run, play, and build confidence at her own pace. Judy is very food-motivated—treats are definitely the way to her heart and will make training both fun and rewarding!Because loud noises can make her a bit nervous, Judy would likely do best in a calmer home environment with older kids (10+). She can be selective with other dogs, so a meet and greet is required to ensure a good fit with any potential canine companions. If you’re looking for a sweet, slightly shy girl who will reward your patience with endless love and loyalty, Judy Hopps is ready to hop right into your heart and home!
