Niko is truly the "best of both worlds"—a born lap dog with a lively interest in being active outdoors. This unique-looking 7-year-old is chock-full of an especially endearing personality. He is playful, loves car rides, tolerates baths well, and is cooperative when getting his harness on. In the home, Niko is generally low-maintenance. He is a gentleman indoors with perfect potty habits; he isn’t a particularly picky eater, can be trusted to roam free when alone, and loves a special spot to look out the window. Niko takes his role as a "watchdog" seriously and will alert you to noises at the door. While he can be vocal, he can respond well to a "quiet" command—even if he insists on getting the last word with some adorable, under-the-breath "woofs!"
