Story
Please contact Paul Slebzak (pauls@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.young pup looking for his forever home! SCOOBERT NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!       Name:  Scoobert        Best Guess for Breed:   German pinscher & Rhodesian Ridgeback mix  Best Guess for Age:   11 months as of October 2023          SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:   48 lbs as of Nov. 2023 - might have a tiny bit more to grow   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven’t seen Scoobert with cats, but he can be tested! Although Scoobert is generally a confident and goofy pup, he doesn't have experience living with small humans, and they seem to make him nervous when he's out on walks. He'd do best in a home without kids under 12 where HE can be your baby!   Currently Living at:   DC area foster home   Watch video of Scoobert here! https://youtube.com/shorts/k3aZ8t1TYpY   Meet Scoobert: Your Future Furry Best Friend! Hello World! My name is Scoobert (Scoobs, Scoob-a-lou, Scooby Doo etc.), the most charming 11-month-old German Pinscher/Ridgeback mix you will ever meet! I've got a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! My story began in the Lone Star State, where I was adopted as a little ball of fur. Life threw me a curveball, and I found myself back in the adoption world through no fault of my own, but that hasn't dampened my spirits one bit. Now I'm here in the vibrant city of DC, ready to find my forever family! Let me tell you a bit about myself – I’m not just your regular pup; I’m playful, cuddly, and super fun! I thrive on playtime, wrestling matches, and of course, lots of cuddles. My playful antics will keep you laughing, and my sweet, charming nature will melt your heart. I love to play but at the end of the day my foster mom and I have THE BEST cuddles – I squish right up and snuggle with her on the couch and it is the best! Oh, and let's talk about my favorite pastime – tearing apart toys, Nylabones, and ice cubes! It's a blast, and I love every moment of it. I am good at playing and entertaining myself and I am also great at playing with new friends! I'm getting pretty good at letting you know when I am ready for a quick potty break too, I'll head straight for the door when nature calls. I've got some impressive tricks up my furry sleeves! I've mastered commands like Sit, Look, and Leave It. Oh, and my recall game is strong – call my name, and I'll come running, tail wagging in excitement. I have been practicing walking nicely on the leash and my foster mom says I'm a really quick learner! I'm eager to please, especially if there are treats involved! Food? Count me in! I absolutely love working for treats, making training sessions a delightful experience! When it comes to making friends, I'm a social butterfly. I adore meeting new people, cuddling up, and making them feel special. I recently proved my charm when I visited a busy hair salon – 90 minutes of pure poise and grace, if I do say so myself! I've also made furry friends with two German Shepherds, some giant Labradors, a chihuahua, golden, the list goes on and had a blast! Sharing toys, treats, and even water? That’s my specialty. I’m not just looking for a home; I'm looking for a family to love and adore. If you're in search of a playful, intelligent, and cuddly companion who will fill your life with joy and endless tail wags, look no further. I’m Scoobert! I can't wait to meet you and embark on a lifetime of adventures together! Story
Looking for a home for this big boy. He is a sweet/lovable dog but does have some anxiety issues. Not good with others dogs, or at least he doesn't seem to like them very much on walks. Also, somewhat apprehensive towards new people. Kids hang all over him and he doesn't seem to mind. Not sure his age as when we got him from the shelter two years ago they weren't totally sure either. But we think he might be around 6 years old now. Seems playful and young enough. Unfortunately, our financial situation has changed for the worse and we would love to see him go to a loving home that can keep him permanently. Seems fairly calm inside the house most of the time and has not had any accidents since adopting him. He lets our 8lb. cat boss him around a lot. Absolutely loves walks. Not totally up to date on some shots as it is an ordeal getting him into the vet for nail trims and shots.

These pups are in Baltimore, Maryland too!

Story
Hey there, I'm all about biscuits, and while I haven't had the pleasure of trying BRUNO Biscuits, I'm sure they're absolutely fabulous! But let's get to what's more important - my name is Bruno, and I've got quite a tale to tell. Once upon a time, I had a home, but somehow I ended up tied to a cart receptacle at our local Petsmart store on a rainy afternoon. Lucky for me, the store manager took me in and was super nice. She held me until I found my way to a rescue, and I couldn't be more thankful for her kindness. I'm not sure why my previous "people" left me there, but I'm keeping my paws crossed for a much better home this time around! Now, let me give you a little description - I'm a cute fella with a square head and jawline, which makes me incredibly handsome, if I do say so myself. Some folks even say I look like a smaller version of the famous Marmaduke, especially with these boyishly handsome ears. The best part? I'm all ready to share my secrets with my new family, and I'm looking for someone who appreciates a good mystery. So, if you enjoy a bit of intrigue and want to make some beautiful memories together, just sign on the dotted line, and we can start our adventure. I adore my humans, I just can't wait to meet them - that's the secret to my happiness! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Meet Tinka, a charming 40-pound Catahoula and Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love. Tinka is not only intelligent but also incredibly sweet. His well-trained demeanor is a testament to his eagerness to please. Tinka's love for other dogs is boundless; he's a playful companion who brings out the best in his four-legged friends. With a gentle introduction, he can even get along famously with cats, showing his adaptable nature. But what truly sets Tinka apart is his affection for children. He adores kids and is their loyal and patient friend, always ready to share his love and wagging tail. His good heart shines through in every interaction, making him the perfect addition to any family seeking a smart, sweet, and loving companion. Tinka was with the rescue as a puppy (see cute puppy pic) and was returned after found on the streets of SA :( But he is an amazing boy, had some special obedience training with his previous family and now he can be YOUR new family member!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee included)
