Please contact Paul Slebzak (pauls@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.young pup looking for his forever home! SCOOBERT NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Scoobert Best Guess for Breed: German pinscher & Rhodesian Ridgeback mix Best Guess for Age: 11 months as of October 2023 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 48 lbs as of Nov. 2023 - might have a tiny bit more to grow Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven’t seen Scoobert with cats, but he can be tested! Although Scoobert is generally a confident and goofy pup, he doesn't have experience living with small humans, and they seem to make him nervous when he's out on walks. He'd do best in a home without kids under 12 where HE can be your baby! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Watch video of Scoobert here! https://youtube.com/shorts/k3aZ8t1TYpY Meet Scoobert: Your Future Furry Best Friend! Hello World! My name is Scoobert (Scoobs, Scoob-a-lou, Scooby Doo etc.), the most charming 11-month-old German Pinscher/Ridgeback mix you will ever meet! I've got a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! My story began in the Lone Star State, where I was adopted as a little ball of fur. Life threw me a curveball, and I found myself back in the adoption world through no fault of my own, but that hasn't dampened my spirits one bit. Now I'm here in the vibrant city of DC, ready to find my forever family! Let me tell you a bit about myself – I’m not just your regular pup; I’m playful, cuddly, and super fun! I thrive on playtime, wrestling matches, and of course, lots of cuddles. My playful antics will keep you laughing, and my sweet, charming nature will melt your heart. I love to play but at the end of the day my foster mom and I have THE BEST cuddles – I squish right up and snuggle with her on the couch and it is the best! Oh, and let's talk about my favorite pastime – tearing apart toys, Nylabones, and ice cubes! It's a blast, and I love every moment of it. I am good at playing and entertaining myself and I am also great at playing with new friends! I'm getting pretty good at letting you know when I am ready for a quick potty break too, I'll head straight for the door when nature calls. I've got some impressive tricks up my furry sleeves! I've mastered commands like Sit, Look, and Leave It. Oh, and my recall game is strong – call my name, and I'll come running, tail wagging in excitement. I have been practicing walking nicely on the leash and my foster mom says I'm a really quick learner! I'm eager to please, especially if there are treats involved! Food? Count me in! I absolutely love working for treats, making training sessions a delightful experience! When it comes to making friends, I'm a social butterfly. I adore meeting new people, cuddling up, and making them feel special. I recently proved my charm when I visited a busy hair salon – 90 minutes of pure poise and grace, if I do say so myself! I've also made furry friends with two German Shepherds, some giant Labradors, a chihuahua, golden, the list goes on and had a blast! Sharing toys, treats, and even water? That’s my specialty. I’m not just looking for a home; I'm looking for a family to love and adore. If you're in search of a playful, intelligent, and cuddly companion who will fill your life with joy and endless tail wags, look no further. I’m Scoobert! I can't wait to meet you and embark on a lifetime of adventures together! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
