Hello everyone! Im a handsome and friendly 3-year-old, 54 lb Rottweiler mix named Scruffles. My journey began as a stray puppy in Von Ormy, Texas, fed by locals, then taken in by a nearby dog sanctuary. I was kept safe and sound in an outdoor kennel with a dog house, but without other dogs to socialize with. Lucky me, when I moved to Rhode Island to practice being an indoor dog, and I took to it like a fish to water! My new foster mom says Im a total sweetheart, well-behaved, housebroken, and very deserving of a family of my own. I am vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and more than ready to meet you! I am an extremely friendly boy, always wagging and smiling, amazing with people and amazing with kids. But because I was under-socialized with other dogs, I should be the only dog in my new home. I have a great personality, a happy demeanor, and a medium-energy level, not overactive and not boring or lazy, just the perfect amount of energy for playtime, running, family activities, and social gatherings. I am always ready for any fun adventures. I am sweet and affectionate, but not the kissy type, so I won't be slobbering all over you. More than anything, I love my people, listen well, and aim to please. Inquire about me today. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast.
