Sadie is a 1-year-old Rottweiler/hound mix. While she is a sweet dog who gets along great with our other dog and children, we feel our home is not the right fit for her. With our busy lifestyle, she needs more exercise and daily enrichment than we are able to provide.Sadie is:• A graduate of a training course knowing commands like "sit" and "place"• Responsive to positive reinforcement training• Great with other dogs and children• In need of an active home and a "job" to do• Can take to "nipping” to get her way or expel energy if bored thus the need for enrichment and ongoing trainingWe are hoping to find an active home for Sadie with someone who has knowledge of working breeds and can provide her with a more fulfilled, active life.💰 Rehoming fee: $0 Includes: crate, leash & harness and some of her current food for easy transition

Breeze

Rottweiler

Male, Young

New Milford, CT

Size

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Details

Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Shots are up-to-date,

Story

Breeze was purchased by a breeder we have used before. He will come with papers and family tree. He started off great as a puppy and was doing great with training. Was also good with my other dogs and my kids. Something changed, not sure what triggered it. He has regressed with training, cannot be loose with my other dogs cause they will just brawl and it’s pretty scary. He does not listen to me anymore, I now need to keep him on a lead line outside cause he will wander to the neighbors. The other problem is that he has become way too strong for me. He pulls yanks twists and has taken me down a few times. It’s also been difficult to even bring him to the vet. I’m looking to rehome because he deserves somebody that can give him a chance to be a great companion. Somebody strong that can handle him and give the love and connection we could not. I do recommend someone with no other pets and no kids. Someone who can really put the time into Breeze! He has such great potential!
