Story
We would love to introduce you to Sage!  Sage is an almost 2 year old (birthday 01/2022) Rottweiler that is looking for her forever home!  Sage is a big, silly girl that has so much personality! Sage is good with other dogs! However, she is coming from a home where she was an only dog so she has A LOT of playful energy when other dogs are present and will need her forever home to guide interactions for a while to make sure she is not being too much for dogs in the home. Sage is good with kids but we would prefer kids in the home be 10+. Sage has not interacted with cats and we do not know how Sage is with cats and therefore won’t be considering homes with feline friends. Sage is house broken and crate trained. She is an energetic girl that would love a home that will give her plenty of exercise and play time. She loves running around so a fenced yard would be preferred but is not required as long as she would get enough exercise elsewhere.  Sage needs a home that is willing to spend some time on training, she’s a good girl but would benefit from touching up on some skills. We would prefer Sage’s forever family own their home and have  previous large working breed experience.  If you would like to welcome Sage home, please visit our website and fill out an application.  Astdogrescue.com ##1892079##

Story
Meet Puddin! Puddin came into a shelter in Texas in rough shape. She has not only been a stray since a young baby, but she was hit by a car and her leg was shattered. The shelter did an FHO surgery to repair her leg. She will never 100% but does very well as you see in the video. This sweet girl is crate trained, knows sit, come, stay off, walks nicely on a leash and is good with large dogs. She is extremely affectionate. Miss Puddin will need to be socialized more with humans because of a very rough start in life. Miss Puddin is protective of her foster family, and very, very grateful for all attention and love that she gets. No one deserves to be loved and cared for more than this girl for the rest of her life. Miss Puddin has not been cat tested. Any family would be lucky to have her. We would definitely recommend training and a fenced yard for Puddin in her new home. If you feel you would like to love Puddin and give her the forever home she deserves, please apply for her today. She has lots of love to give, but also needs someone with patience, love, time and dedication. If interested in Puddin, please COPY LINK BELOW TO APPLY AND FILL OUT AN APPLICATION: https://www.fetchingheartsrescue.org/adoption-form-online to fill out an application or email to inquire at: INFO.FETCHINGHEARTS@GMAIL.COM Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption: Thorough veterinary examination All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (Kennel Cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming, Microchip, Flea and Tick Prevention and Heartworm Prevention. Spay/Neuter All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward. HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment. Story
Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Maddie is a sweet and friendly puppy who was found on the side of the road in a trash bag along with 4 other dogs. Can you imagine? We saved all five dogs and Maddie is the youngest, at only about 3-5 months old. She is happy go lucky despite her rough start in life. Maddie loves playing with toys and other dogs, but she mellows out nicely for her age as well. She will need work on potty training and leash training, but is doing well in her crate. Maddie is up to date on age appropriate vaccines & preventatives and we will work with a potential adopter to set up her spay. To learn more about the adoption process for Maddie, please call or text Brittany at 2037276625, thanks!
