3 yrs 45-50 lbs Flower is very sweet and loving. She loves to play and romp, but is also very accepting of cuddles. Good with other dogs and kids. Flower is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. Hello everyone! I'm a handsome, friendly 3-year-old, 54 lb Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix named Scruff. My journey began as a stray puppy in Von Ormy, Texas, where locals fed me before a foster took me in and cared for me. Fast forward, and I'm now living in Columbia, Connecticut, with an awesome foster who also happens to be a professional dog trainer! I am his newest student, and I must say, I am an "A" student at that. I am learning a lot of new cool stuff and perfecting my dog manners, such as walking calmly on a leash, sitting, staying, going to my place, recalling, and playing respectfully with other doggies. My trainer Dad says I'm a total sweetheart, well-behaved, housebroken, and very deserving of a family of my own. I am an extremely friendly boy, always wagging and smiling, amazing with people and amazing with kids. If you pet me, I will love you forever and want more! I have a great personality, a happy demeanor, and a medium-energy level, not overactive and not boring or lazy, just the perfect amount of energy for playtime, running, family activities, and social gatherings.
