Story
Hi! I have a senior dog (10 yrs old) named Bear that I need to rehome. He’s been with us for almost 7 years but he needs better care and attention than we can give him as we have two very active kids and are always away from home. He’s a good dog and house broken. He is neutered. He does have some skin allergies on the top and sides of his bottom. He’s very sweet and playful but he needs a better place to call home that can provide him with better care and attention than we currently can.

I’m trying to find a loving adoptive home for this sweet boy. He needs to be rehome due to my son. He has become allergic to dogs. Shadow is up to date with shots and very friendly and protected towards the family. He is House trained and crate trained and loves his treats. There’s no fee we definitely want him to be cared for and played with!

Sweet kind gentle big boy. I currently work in healthcare and my child is headed to college so I would love for him to go to a home that can give him love and attention. He is crate trained and house trained. Walks on a leash. Plays well at dog parks with all size dogs. Knows commands. Does well at dog resorts and sitters. Great with kids. Loves cuddles. He deserves more time than I can give. He is neutered and microchipped

Story
Trunx is a 4-year-old German Rottweiler with life ahead. He knows command sit, is treat-motivated, takes treats gently and is good on leash, though he gets excited around other dogs. He loves walks and people, showing a sweet, affectionate side once comfortable. He leans in for pets and enjoys attention on his terms. He is generally great with other dogs He needs an experienced, owner who can continue training and set boundaries. He does not like being crowded or handled roughly and should move at his own pace. He can be startled by strangers on walks and may become protective. Limited exposure to children; has been around a 10-year-old and coexists well, but no close interaction, so a home without young children or with respectful older children is best. Crate-trained and returns easily. Needs a couple updated shots before rehoming. Loyal & loving, , With continued training and understanding, he has the potential to be an amazing companion Serious inquiries only

Story
Daisy is ready for her next chapter! -3 years old (est.) -62 pounds -Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped -Very dog friendly, all sizes -Potty trained, crate trained -Shy, derpy, goofy, innocent, playful, preciously sweet and lovely PERSONALITY: Daisy is such a beautifully innocent soul. Though very very shy at first, there is not a mean bone in her body. She is goofy and derpy like a boxer when she warms up. She is true innocent bliss mixed with derpy goofball. Daisy just needs someone to give her grace and a little time to settle in, warm up so they can see her true beautiful personality too. FAV THINGS: Daisy enjoys playing with dogs, collecting nylabones in her dog bed (she's topped out at around 20), stealing slippers or shoes if the opportunity presents (oopsies- she's learning), seeking gentle affection from her people, and playing with her people in the yard. DOGS: Daisy best thrives with another dog in the home. She really, really enjoys their companionship and comfort, and follows their lead for confidence. She also *loves* playing with other playful dogs. She has done beautifully with every dog she has met from dominant/alpha female type, to submissive playful, from 6lb puppies to 70lb adults. CATS: Unknown. Daisy has not met cats, besides out free with ferals cats at the gym when she was living there. If we were a betting man..... we'd probably bet a kitty swat would send Daisy running for the hills. That is 0% tried and tested. She has NO cat experiences to speak on with us. Daisy is just so uber submissive, absolutely zero observed prey drive, and liable to be afraid of her own shadow we just cant see her not being put in her place by a cat. The only way to know though is slow and proper intros over time living with them. KIDS: No kid experience, though probably best only older kids as she is so shy at first and such a flight risk. TRAINING: Potty trained. Crate trained- sleeps peacefully in her crate over night and while humans are gone. HISTORY: Daisy lived in the parking lot of a gym from around March 2025 until capture January 2026. Everyone cared for her and loved her, she was basically the gym mascot its just that no one could catch her. No owner ever came forward and her history prior to the gym remains a mystery. NOTE: Daisy will be a FLIGHT RISK starting off. Daisy avoided capture for several months and it is not likely she could be caught again if she escaped. Basic precautionary measures must be taken to ensure she stays safe e.g. not leaving unattended in a yard, watching doors/gates, etc. Simple things that are the difference sometimes in a pet going missing or not. LOCATION: Currently in foster in Jackson, GA. We do a home check with all fosters/adopters, so no need to travel, we will come to you within 2 hours. AVAILABILITY: Available for adoption or foster-to-adopt (FTA). FTA is a 2 week commitment-free trial run to make sure things are a fit before sealing the deal and officially adopting. ADOPTION FEE: $150 APPLY TO ADOPT: joyspromise.org/adopt P.S.- If you aren't looking to adopt right now, but still want to help, consider fostering Daisy! Fostering Daisy would expand her socialization and exposure, which would be greatly beneficial to her at this point. Foster: joyspromise.org/foster -- Note: If you are interested in adopting, please COMPLETE AN APPLICATION THROUGH OUR WEBSITE. Inquiries on adoption sites is not an application. Your inquiry will not be seen until you complete an actual application at joyspromise.org/adopt

Story
Diamond's previous owner had to move and was unable to take her along.  As a result, she was surrendered to BCAS. She is around 2, potty trained and crate trained. She likes to fetch and play tug-of-war and play with her toys. She loves other dogs and kids but has a high prey drive which makes her unsuitable for a home with cats. She plays gently the other dogs in her foster's home and is also a gentle eater. She is very affectionate and loves snuggling. Everyone comments on her exceptionally soft coat and her foster parents love that she doesn't shed. They also say she doesn't snore and sleeps soundly all night. She's not a fence-climber or a digger. She knows basic commands.  She is trained to chew approriately (meaning she loves to chew, but only chews her toys.) She is accustomed to being on the couch and beds in her foster home. She is UTD on shots, spayed and heartworm negative, and is looking for her new family!  If you'd like to meet her, please fill out an adoption application for "Diamond" online at buttsmutts.com.  ##2608948##
