Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at    https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt.       This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. Our adoption fee is  $250-400   . They have been given age-appropriate vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary, dewormed, have received flea prevention, and are micro-chipped. Mac came in as a stray and still resides inside AC. He is 55lbs, maybe a boxer/black cur mix?? He temperament tested well with Molly and had no interest in Bob (AC shelter cat). He has a great personality and loves to be loved!!! He can be met at Jasper County Animal Control in Monticello, GA or with an approved application, we can bring him to you!!

Scooby touched our hearts as no other His face and his story did it to us We were contacted by a family that had been affected by a suicide. The mother pleaded for help. No one in her area could help them. She had no idea that her son had a dog and she wasn’t physically able to care for him. We took Molly today to temperament test in order to get pics and videos but we couldn’t leave him there in a makeshift pen of chicken wire and being fed and watered over that fence. While our assessment, cats were wandering around the yard with us and this dog was unfazed Welcome SCOOBY The puppy faced boy who is 1 yr old, HW negative, great with all things and faced extreme trauma during a night his daddy couldn’t hold on. FACTS: Dog friendly (all sizes) *Cat friendly *Rides perfect in a vehicle *Walks great on a leash *Will be 100% vetted 9/25 *Housebroken *56lbs *Low energy *Super grateful

Was taking care of Mom when she was pregnant while owner was in jail. Picked a couple of the puppies and was raised together. I moved away and left him with my brother and his brother. Ive visited them a few times. Last time they got jealous when I gave the other one any attention, they havent been getting along since, and my brother and Mom cant watch him anymore. I live in Florida in a camper that to say the least, isnt suitable for him to be trapped in by himself while Im at work. He is a bit timid and skiddish of new people at first. But he is a very loving dog. Wants to be by your feet most of the time. I hate to get rid of him, but I dont want to put him through being pulled from everything hes ever known to being stuck alone in a camper under construction 5-6 days a week because I work.

Beautiful Bama is a happy go lucky girl. At 47lbs, and 4-6yrs  she loves to romp and play like a puppy,  but also loves to cuddle and just spend time with you.   Now in foster care, she gets along well with dogs bigger and smaller than she is, as well as the cat.  She is house trained and good inside the home free roaming while foster is at work, and uses potty pads only if she cannot hold it.   She enjoys collecting all her toys and balls and keeping them on her bed!   She loves her human and will do well in a home with or without another pet.   If you'd like to meet her, please apply  to foster or adopt this amazing gal at buttsmutts.com ##2339075##
