Adopt us!!! Hades & Mavis 3 - 5 year old bonded pair (must be adopted together) Located in Chicago will adopt out of state! Hades & Mavis found themselves with no place to go after their guardian passed away this past fall. Luckily they landed in safe place and are being fostered in Chicago with other dogs in an in-home boarding situation but would love to find their furever home as it gets very chaotic and they’d prefer something quieter. (And foster mom is overwhelmed!). They are a fun and goofy pair who love nothing more than a nap in the yard and endless face scratches…… * Favorite activities are eating snacks and sleeping but are known to get up and bark at potential outdoor “threats” if the spirit moves them or if they hear the crinkle of a snack bag * Mavis is blind in one eye but you’d never know! * Hades has arthritis and hip dysplasia and a bit of a “hitch in his giddyup” but has been getting around very well! * Hades howls at sirens (or when he’s having big feelings, he’s very emotional) and Mavis will start up too (an apartment might not be a good fit…) ? * will harass cats for entertainment If you are interested in adopting this amazingly sweet pair, please email their foster mom at Cracra719@gmail.com

We will supply adopter with 3 months of Advantage Multi to continue treatment until he is taken to a vet by adopter. Heartworm positive dogs CANNOT be adopted into Washington State, New York, or Wisconsin.*** Shiloh is a male Rottweiler/Hound mix (with a full tail) and around 2 years old. -Came into the shelter in December 2024 -Very well mannered -Loves to be loved and petted -Lower-mid energy, go with the flow personality -Likes other dogs -Walks well on a leash -Knows how to shake with both paws -Can be cat tested upon request. -Video of Shiloh: https://youtu.be/YcOAgF3bipw Shiloh is neutered, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed, a *positive* heartworm test as of January 14th and is on Advantage Multi for slow-kill treatment. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport in one of the cities listed below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Presley is a female Rottweiler mix (with a full tail) and around 2 years old. -She came into the shelter of August 2023. -This sweet girl does well with other dogs -Quite playful -Loves to romp in the yard -Very friendly with people.
