Story
Great protector. Great pup! Unfortunately not great with small children. We had a biting incident with one of our children's friends, and we just believe Peralta would be better suited in a home without children. He is loyal and obviously very good at protecting his people. He loves hugs and car rides and howling along with tornado/police/fire truck sirens. Great pupper, just needs a home with less children and children's friends in it.

Meet Cheyenne (Shy)! This 2 year old rottie mix is the sweetest gal you'll meet! She's dog friendly and loves people, but can be a little shy at first. She would make an AMAZING first pet for some lucky family. She loves to chase her tail and go on walks! She is learning how to walk on a leash, and is doing better and better every day. She is also working on crate and potty training, and doing great at both. Cheyenne's adoption fee is $200 and covers all age appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip, and heartworm prevention. If you'd like to meet Cheyenne, place an app today at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUCK/Dog

Story
Rottie lovers!!!! Toreta is ready to be treated like the queen that this girl is.....This girl has had a rough go with life so far. She lived a good part of her life outdoors, which did not help her skin. We have been treating her skin allergies and getting those under control. Despite things, Toreta is a dog who loves her toys, her treats and her attention! This girl has lived with small children in the past (1.5 years old), but she isn't a fan of felines. She is a strong girl on a leash, and so far in playgroups she hasn't really had a playstyle with other dogs. This girl would love a forever home, where she can sleep on a comfy bed indoors, get some nice baths for her skin and be loved. Come meet her today! My ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.

She has come so far in a few short months with patience, love, & trust but requires continued support.   She lives with 3 dogs (1 big/2 little), 2 adults, and a 6 y/o child in her foster home and does great! She adores kids but they must be  patient.     Approximate Birthdate:   March 2021 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. I am a 4 1/2 year old Rottweiler mix looking for a family of my own. I love dogs and kids and am even good with cats! My favorite toy is my tennis ball. I am a medium energy dog and would love an active family to play fetch with me, or a canine sibling to play with. Adoption fee $200Twyla is just over a year old and 85 lbs. She is currently fostered as an only dog, however has frequent play dates and does great with other dogs! We would suggest a yard for Twyla as she likes to play and is a big gal. She is good with kids, although again due to her size we would suggest older kids so they don't get knocked over. She has been to one adoption event so far and was definitely a crowd favorite! Don't miss your chance to meet Twyla, run over to www.k911foundation.com/adopt to fill out the application!September 27, 2023, 9:04 pm

Story
Meet Sammy, an 11-year-old boxer/pit mix that came to our home through no fault of her own. Her owner (one of our closest family friends) passed away in a motorcycle accident in May. We agreed to help rehome her as we didn't want her even more confused by being placed in a shelter. She is full of energy, loves to play and run, and act as a true companion. Our friend was an avid outdoorsman devoted to Sammy, so she is accustomed to being a close companion. She enjoys being outside running or playing to burn off energy, going to the dog park or having land to run on, camping, hunting…you name it, if it’s outdoors, she loves it! She has been great with our young kids (4, 2, and 2 weeks) and our other two dogs - but we cannot attest to how she is around cats. What little paperwork we were able to find does indicate she had her vaccinations and dental in March 2023. Please help us honor our friend by giving his best furry friend a perfect forever home!

Story
Murphy is a mature 5 year old boxer mix who lives up to his name. He is such a happy and goofy guy. His tongue doesn't always make it back in his mouth and sticks out next to his snaggle tooth...cracks us up! He absolutely wins over everyone he meets, and will quickly become your shadow at home. Since he is a seasoned gentleman, he is house trained and doesn't need to be kept in a kennel if you're not home. He's happy to just sleep on your bed while you're gone. Once he gets his excitement out from seeing you, he can walk leisurely with you around the neighborhood. Murphy adores kids but also thinks they want to play chase when they run. Murphy may not have love at first sight with other dogs, but can quickly become besties. He enjoys playing with dog friends who let him rule the roost. He can sleep or wrestle with the best of them! His future home would need to take care when feeding him around other dogs as he of course wants his food, and toys, all to himself. At his age, we think he's entitled! He must know humans don't like to eat dog food because he could care less about us stealing his food. He loves car rides and knows that his place is in the back. Murphy has spent time with a foster family who feels he has been one of their best fosters yet! There is a perfect place for Murphy, we just know it!
