🎷 😎 💖 🎤 🐾 🎶 🎵 "The power of love is a curious thing, Make one man weep, make another man sing, Change a hawk to a little white dove, More than a feeling, that’s the power of love!" 🎵🎶 Have you been fortunate enough to love a dog with your whole heart? If so, you know how much a dog’s love can enhance your life. We introduce to you, Huey, a 5-year-old Boxer/ Staffordshire terrier mix who is a big-headed lover boy! This muscular guy is friendly with everyone and just wants to be given hugs, kisses and pets. Huey gets along well with other dogs and kids. He is house trained and crate trained and knows the command, “sit”. Huey is always SO happy! He will sit with his ears back and a smile on his face while his tail goes, “thump, thump”! Huey spent the first part of his life living outside on a chain, but you would never know that by his sweet personality and loving nature. He is looking for someone who he can love with his whole heart. If you have a family, he has enough love to go around for everyone! Huey can be a little bouncy when he greets people, so smaller children will need to be supervised around him. Huey is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. His adoption fee is $175. Huey is looking for a loving family and he knows he has plenty of love to give in return. Story
Hello, This is Fiona. She just turned 3 years old. She has been raised with kids and is very loving to them. She does have issues with snatching food from kids and surfing counters for food. She hasn't shown aggression towards any kids but resource guards her food. She does have slight separation anxiety when left alone too long and tries everything to escape. Ideally would work for someone that works from home or home most of the day. She would also do great on a farm or with lots of land. She runs so so fast and has a lot of energy to get out. She can jump high as well. We are out of the house to much for her well being. She is such a sweet and loving family dog. We care so much for her and would love someone that would be ok to stay in contact with us. We have had her in basic training but doesnt seem to make a difference. She is stubborn and just needs lots of attention that were having a hard time giving with young children. She is great with other dogs but timid around cats.

🚀Houston: We Have a Beefcake! 🚀 Meet Houston—a 75+ pound, 4-year-old boxer mix with muscles, manners, and major charm. Just look at that profile. Behold his majestic water pose. This boy’s a beefcake in every sense of the word. But don’t let the brawn fool you—Houston’s got brains, too! He knows sit, down, stay, high five, and wait. Learning tricks is one of his favorite hobbies, right behind sprinting around the yard like a goofball and battling the garden hose like it personally offended him. His ultimate favorite? Tug of war. (He’ll even let you win sometimes, because Houston is generous and humble like that.) Houston’s ideal day? Just hanging out with his person, doing a whole lot of nothing together. He’s a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a few minutes and you’ll unlock his best feature: champion-level snuggles. He lives to sit in your lap—yes, all 75 pounds of him—and he’s happiest curled up next to his favorite human. This sweet boy is also housetrained and kennel trained. In fact, he does some of his finest napping in his crate while patiently waiting for you to come home. And when you do, whether it’s been five minutes or five hours, he’ll greet you with a wildly wagging nub of a tail and a full-body wiggle that will absolutely make your day. Houston’s looking for a quiet, kid-free home where he can be your one and only. He’d love a fenced yard where he can stretch those legs and practice his signature splash moves. Houston is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $175. Apply to adopt him at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
Meet Cane! Cane is a sweet, goofy Boxer/Pit Bull mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for naps and snuggles. He's house-trained, knows his basic commands, and loves learning new things, especially when treats are involved (very food motivated!). Most days, Cane is happily snoozing, supervising his humans, or curled up as close as possible on the couch. Once a day, he enjoys a short but enthusiastic case of the zoomies before returning to his favorite activity: relaxing. Toys will bring him out of a slumber every time, and he loves some rowdy playtime too. Cane would thrive in a calm, adult-only home where he can be the only pet. He does best without other animals or children and truly shines when he gets all the attention. In the right home, he's affectionate, loyal, and full of personality. If you're looking for a low-key companion who will keep your couch warm and your heart full, Cane may be your perfect match. I wish I could keep him myself truly, he's my best friend.

Story
Hudson is 3 to 4 years old and weighs 77 lbs . He is neutered and up to date on vaccines , is on a monthly heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick. Hudson has been an apartment dog since being adopted 2 years ago . He is pretty mellow as he likes to nap and lounge on the couch alot. He does get to go for some walks and loves them. They are very limited as it is risky that we run into another dog. He is reactive so he don't get much exercise . He is a big cuddle bug and wants to be with me or on me all the time. Hudson love to give kisses. He loves his treats and dinner time. He lets me bath him, trim his nails, clean his ears, brush his teeth. He does great at the vet for all his pokes. He is is a gentle giant. Hudson needs a home with a yard and no other pets. He needs to be able to run and get exercise . Hudson has had training can sit, lay down go to kennel, shake. He goes to the door and sits to let you know when he needs to go out and go potty. He is very smart!

Story
Meet Diamond – A Shining Soul with a Heart of Gold Diamond is a stunning 4-year-old black Pit Bull/Lab mix whose story is as powerful as her name. When she was rescued, Diamond had endured severe neglect and abuse — she was skin and bones, missing patches of fur, and had lost faith in people. But with love, patience, and care, this beautiful girl has blossomed into a happy, playful companion with a dazzling smile and sleek black coat. Diamond is crate trained and has never had an accident indoors. She sleeps soundly through the night in a crate, but she’d much prefer to curl up in bed next to her person. Once she feels safe, her playful and goofy personality shines through — she loves walks, plays with toys, and has the most endearing zoomies. She’s also learning to enjoy human affection, and her foster mom has worked hard to help her learn that human touch can be kind. Diamond would do best as the only pet in an adult-only home. She is not cat-friendly and can be unpredictable with other dogs. Her ideal adopter will respect her need for slow introductions and structure. Because of her past, food is a valuable resource for Diamond and should be managed with care. Like many young dogs, she can still be a bit mouthy when excited, but she listens beautifully when told to calm down or redirects to a toy. Once Diamond trusts you, you’ll see just how special she is — her loyalty runs deep, and her goofy grin will melt your heart every day. She is proof that love and patience can heal old wounds, and she’s ready to find the person who will let her sparkle forever. Could you be the one to give Diamond her forever home and show her what unconditional love truly feels like? Diamond is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program, which means you can take some time to get to know her in your home before finalizing the adoption. It’s a great way to ensure the perfect fit! ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. Meet Lily — A People-Loving Bulldog Mix Lily is a big, goofy sweetheart with velvety-soft fur, a heart of gold, and a personality that shines brightest with her humans. She’s a lovable bulldog mix who is back on the search for her forever home — and we want to be very clear about what she needs so her next home can be her forever one. 💛 Lily’s Personality Lily adores people of all ages and thrives on attention, affection, and quality time. She’s the type of dog who will happily flop over for belly rubs, roll around like a goofball, and charm everyone she meets with her joyful wiggles. Stuffed toys are her absolute favorite (she’s never met one she didn’t love), and on warm days, a kiddie pool is basically her version of paradise. She’s affectionate, silly, and happiest when she’s included in daily life. 🩺 Medical Needs Lily has allergies that are well-managed with: ✔ Routine allergy injections ✔ A specific diet with food geared toward skin sensitivities These needs are ongoing and important to her comfort and health. Her future adopter must be willing and able to stay consistent with both. 🏡 Lily’s Ideal Home ✔ Dog and cat free home ✔ People who enjoy an affectionate, people-focused dog ✔ Willingness to maintain her medical needs and diet ✔ A home where she can soak up love, attention, and routine ✨ Why You’ll Love Lily Lily is a joyful, loving companion who brings laughter, warmth, and a whole lot of heart into a home.
