Learning tricks is one of his favorite hobbies, right behind sprinting around the yard like a goofball and battling the garden hose like it personally offended him. His ultimate favorite? Tug of war. He's house-trained, knows his basic commands, and loves learning new things, especially when treats are involved (very food motivated!). Most days, Cane is happily snoozing, supervising his humans, or curled up as close as possible on the couch. She has also done very well with children and previously lived with kids as young as two years old, showing a gentle and patient side with her family. This sweet girl weighs around 70–80 pounds and has overcome some medical challenges in the past, including surgery on both knees (similar to ACL repairs in people). Despite that, she’s continued to live a happy, active life and is ready to share her love with a new family. Dia came back to rescue after experiencing some stress and changes in her previous home. Based on her recent history with other dogs, Dia will do best as the only dog in the household where she can enjoy a calm, stable environment and soak up all the attention from her people. Her experience with cats is unknown.
