I lost my 1st Rottie to cancer a few years back and I thought that I wanted another. I adopted Thor from Midwest Animal ResQ in June of 2024, he was 4 years old. He is neutered and UTD on vaccines. He knows basic commands, ie: sit, down, shake, etc. I have tried to work with him on leash walking, personal space boundaries, greeting new people and animals, etc. but it takes alot more time and energy than what I have. I am 60 years old and I am tired at the end of the day and he wants to go, go, go. We have 4 other rescues in our home, 2 dogs and 2 cats, he gets along well with them all. We have 5 grandchildren, ages 1 - 15 and he gets excited when they come to visit. Thor needs a home with active parents that can keep up with his energy. He is very loving and has never met a stranger, 2 or 4 legged. He loves car and boat rides. It will be hard for me to let him go, but I just can't keep up with him. I will check personal and vet references.

Oh, sweet Bubba! He is such a handsome caramel and black Rottweiler mix of ~7.5 years and ~55 pounds who came to us through @Saving Death Row Dogs in Topeka, Kansas. He's an amazing boy who deserves an equally amazing home. Bubba just adores children! His perfect day is being with his humans, running in the grass, and lounging with his toys. Bubba loves playing on the couch and rearranging the covers, too. Oh, and giving his human friends kisses! He's been around cats and does fine. Because they are scary to him, though, Bubba will not do well with other dogs in his home. Text or call The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more information about Bubba. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Remy is a playful pup who was found on a snow packed country road covered in icicles in December 2025. She was not microchipped and reportedly was wandering around the nearest town a few days prior. She is currently being fostered in a home with children, cats and a dog. She has been spayed and vaccines are up to date. Remy is playful and often flops on the ground in front of your feet to demand pets. She has responded well to training for simple commands such as "sit" and "shake". Remy has been very patient with young children, letting them pet her and often giving them kisses. She has met her foster home's dog and is curious about him; unfortunately, he is wary of her. Remy is looking for a home that can give her the attention and love that she deserves, and hopefully a few playmates! Hello, This is Fiona. She just turned 3 years old. She has been raised with kids and is very loving to them. She does have issues with snatching food from kids and surfing counters for food. She hasn't shown aggression towards any kids but resource guards her food. She does have slight separation anxiety when left alone too long and tries everything to escape. Ideally would work for someone that works from home or home most of the day. She would also do great on a farm or with lots of land. She runs so so fast and has a lot of energy to get out. She can jump high as well. We are out of the house to much for her well being. She is such a sweet and loving family dog. We care so much for her and would love someone that would be ok to stay in contact with us. We have had her in basic training but doesnt seem to make a difference. She is stubborn and just needs lots of attention that were having a hard time giving with young children. She is great with other dogs but timid around cats.
