Story
Oh, sweet Bubba! He is such a handsome caramel and black Rottweiler mix of ~7.5 years and ~55 pounds who came to us through @Saving Death Row Dogs in Topeka, Kansas. He's an amazing boy who deserves an equally amazing home. Bubba just adores children! His perfect day is being with his humans, running in the grass, and lounging with his toys. Bubba loves playing on the couch and rearranging the covers, too. Oh, and giving his human friends kisses! He's been around cats and does fine. Because they are scary to him, though, Bubba will not do well with other dogs in his home. Text or call The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more information about Bubba. If you'll foster him, all of his expenses will be paid. Bubba's adoption fee is also being paid by a friend and we can transport him from KC, if needed. 💕 #thepetconnection #RottweilerMix #RescueDog #AdoptDontShop #DogLovers #KansasDogs #PetAdoption #FosterAPet #DogRescue #KCAdopt #DogsofInstagram

Story
I purchased Shani 2.6 years ago when I visited my Son in California, ( I live in Missouri). I brought her back with me, and was happy I did. She caught on to Home training quickly, and I observed her Smart personality.I recently found out I have a Medical condition that is forcing me make a decision to leave my home, and move to Arizona with my sister. So that's why I'm hoping to find someone to adopt Shani, because I won't be able to take her with me.

Story
Say “hi” to Beautiful! She fits her name perfectly. In fact, she is not only beautiful on the outside but also has a beautiful soul. Let us tell you about this beauty. She is a 4-year-old Rottweiler mix, weighing 45 lbs., which is the perfect size. She gets along beautifully with other respectful dog friends after a proper introduction. She is not a fan of the feline types. So no cats in her home, please. This gal doesn’t appreciate the ones who jump in her face; she prefers to take things slow and get to know them first. Miss Beautiful loves her humans and her goal in life is to please them. She is very playful but will always take a break for pets and a nice cuddle. Beautiful is a smart lady, as she knows that outside is where she is supposed to do her business. She listens well when asked to sit and listens very well when told no. Since she is so eager to please, she is easily redirected. She has been enjoying her leash walks and working very hard to be the bestest girl on leash. Once she starts walking, she calms down and enjoys the sights and sounds. Our beautiful, Beautiful, is sweet and loving. She wants to be with you and loves getting your attention. Her foster shared that she is playful and loving, the kind of dog anyone would be lucky to have. She tells us that going slow with her, along with patience and understanding, is what she needs. If her adopter does this, she will warm up, and they will be rewarded with the love and friendship of an amazing pup. Beautiful is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations. She is also current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Her adoption fee is $175. You can fill out an application at PawsitiveTailsKC.org to meet her. Once approved, a meet and greet will be set up. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 Don’t let this beautiful girl get away. Fill out that application now!

Story
Vicky is just over a year old and she is full of SPUNK. This girl will keep you on your toes. If you want a lazy, calm dog...she is not girl! That isn't to say she can't calm down, because she can...but if she has a choice she wants to go and see what life has to offer. Vicky is dog unsure. She doesn't seem to have had proper socialization with dogs and has no idea how to behave. She's totally all about her person though. She knows how to sit and she is HIGHLY food motivated. I mean I think this girl would do anything for her kibbles! She's got the energy and the passion to learn a lot. Vicky is probably 65-70 pounds. She's spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Vicky's adoption fee is $200. At Autumn Acres Animal Rescue we believe each individual animal matters. We take in special cases some of which will stay with us as a sanctuary dog.If the animal is listed as a Socially Imperfect Dog this means they have special needs and special requirements for potential adopters. If the animal is listed as a Socially Imperfect RESIDENT this animal is NOT available for adoption and is one of our sanctuary residents. We list them on our sites because they still matter and they still need donations to help with their long term care.Check out our website for more information: http://www.autumnacres.org

🚨WANTED: Peanut Butter Supplier with Couch Access 🚨 Introducing Timber – 100 pounds of love, loyalty, and peanut butter-fueled enthusiasm. This 7-year-old Rottweiler mix has two priorities in life: Peanut butter You (but mostly peanut butter) Timber’s the total package: 💪 Beefy head? Check. 💤 Chill vibes? Check. 🚽 Only barks when it’s important (like potty time or snack o’clock)? Double check. 🏠 Housetrained and trustworthy out of a kennel? You bet your Skippy. Looking for a loyal walking buddy who also doubles as a living weighted blanket? Timber’s your girl. Single guy? She’ll be your peanut butter-smeared wingwoman. Single gal? She’s already got her leash—let’s hit the trail. Couple looking to give a dog a dream life? Timber’s been manifesting you since 2023. BUT: 🐶 No other dogs, please. Story
Draco is a large dog who prefers to eat without any interruptions and can get grumpy if someone is nearby. He needs a loving family who can give him the attention he craves and has a large fenced yard for him to run and play in. Due to his size, small children should keep a safe distance from Draco and be supervised by parents. He seems to be okay with other dogs as long as they are not dominant. While Draco has been around cats, we cannot guarantee how he will react to them. If you would like to visit Draco please feel free to come to the shelter during open hours.

Story
The name is Missy and if youre looking for a loyal&#44 lovable companion with just the right mix of sass and sweetness&#44 allow me to reintroduce myself.

Im gentle-hearted&#44 a little shy at first&#44 but once I warm up (a few treats help)&#44 Im all about the good vibes only. I love toys&#44 belly rubs&#44 and snack time like its my full-time job. And when I get comfortable? Oh&#44 the kisses and tail wags dont stop. I love a good play and romp with other dogs.

I walk like Ive got a purpose&#44 because I do&#44 right next to you. I already know sit&#44 down&#44 drop it and sometimes even shake (because I do like to work it!). And yes&#44 I LOVE to fetch tennis balls and bring them right back like a pro. Missy dont miss.

Id do best in a calm home&#44 ideally with no kiddos under 12&#44 just a chill vibe where I can truly shine. If youre patient and kind&#44 I promise Ill flip it and reverse it into a beautiful friendship. Great example is I was in a foster home and properly met 3 well-behaved kiddos (5&#44 7 and 10). They were instructed to allow me to make the first move to meet them. It took no time for me to go up to them and greet them. Then&#44 we had super time together with them throwing balls and me bringing them back&#44 dropping the ball so they could throw again.

Lets take it slow... and make some magic.

Love&#44
Missy

Story
Nobody knows how to wear a hat quite like I do&#44 dont you think? Hi there&#44 Im Ava! A sweet and silly girl that cant wait for her forever family. Thankfully&#44 all the kind people at the shelter have given me so much to be happy about. Ive learned what it means to be house trained&#44 how to share my toys&#44 and Ive experienced what it means to be loved&#44 really and truly loved by a human.

I want so much to trust every human I meet right away. But I need a little time to get to know someone and really develop a sense of connection and love for that human. The shelter experience lends itself to a lot of unfamiliar people needing to interact with me often&#44 and I get nervous and scared around all that attention. I prefer slower introductions&#44 getting to know the person&#44 and finding that I can trust that no one wants to hurt me. Once there is patience and understanding between us&#44 Im a little doll. Ive got quite the personality&#44 and I want so much to be a part of a family and feel included in activities.

I am also kennel trained&#44 and I like to sleep in my quiet little spot. Ive been soaking up the love in a foster home recently. When Im not snuggled up with Foster Dad&#44 I enjoy playing with my toys and snoozing the day way. I absolutely adore squeaky toys&#44 and Im a big fan of car rides&#44 too. Starbucks Pup Cup anyone?

Before I fully commit to a family&#44 Id really love to meet everyone to ensure we all have that special connection. Since Im still learning that new people are indeed trustworthy&#44 I would appreciate older kids who know how to be gentle with me. Love is a two-way street&#44 you know. I cant wait to shower my new family with endless love&#44 loyalty&#44 and lots of joy. Together&#44 well make beautiful memories&#44 and I promise to be the best companion anyone could ask for.

Love from Ava
