This big beautiful girl cost someone $3500 2 years ago. A year ago she found herself abandoned and living on a chain a couple hundred feet behind the home she used to live inside of. The family she used to be a part of had moved away. Thankfully the property owner had been caring for her until he could find the perfect place for her. She is now safe and comfortable at the Funny Farm and back inside where it’s warm and she gets to play and have people love on her throughout the day. She is 62 pounds of pure love. She loves everyone she meets and is a little submissive. She loves other dogs of all sizes as well. She has a moderate prey drive so cats would probably not be a great idea although we are told she used to live with 2. She absolutely loves toys, especially this giant donut and she loves to go for rides. She does great off leash and has excellent recall. She is the typical Rottie and is a slob with her water and food and has no idea how big she is because she loves to sit in your lap. She knows sit but I believe from living on a chain for a year, she does jump a little but she corrects fairly easy. This girl has tons of potential in an experienced home. She needs lots of exercise and consistent training. Hi! My name is Dulce I am looking for a forever home. Me & a few of my friends were rescued from a pretty bad situation where we lived outside all of the time in a small pen and we were all pretty emaciated and missing most of our hair. Our initial foster home spent a lot of time doctoring us and giving us lots of good food so now we look really good. She then reached out to BCAA to see if they could help us all find good homes and they said yes ... yeah! I appear to be possibly a rottie-hound mix but no one knows for sure as while I weigh a little over 46lbs at around 2 years old, I have short legs so don't look real big when you meet me. I now have a beautiful black and tan coat which is really thick and has grown back beautifully. When I first meet new people or go into new situations, I am shy; however, with the 3 T's (time, TLC and treats) I start coming out of my shell and learning I can trust, then I love getting attention and am a "leaner". I enjoy playing with the other dogs and haven't paid much attention to the cats I've encountered. I have done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bed. I'm starting to get the leash thing down as I have figured out it means I can be out with you and going on an adventure but some additional training wouldn't hurt. And talking about training, I really, really love my food and treats which you can use to help me learn new stuff.
